• Learning With a Calendar and Magic Boards!

  Oh my goodness! I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to all my wonderful donors! This new Calendar is amazing and the kids absolutely LOVE it! They were so excited to get it up in our classroom and start using it!! The Ten Frames are a nice addition and great practice for the kids!

  The Magic Boards have been an awesome new Learning Center. The kids love the tracing cards! They have so much fun practicing words and letters. They have also came in handy to use during indoor recess to keep the kids entertained and engaged in the Covid days where we are limiting sharing!

• Lap Desks for Traveling!

  Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards my classroom project for lap desks! The kids absolutely LOVE them! They have used them several times around our classroom since we have gotten them! They love that the top part flips up and they can store their pencil and crayons inside!

  I cannot wait to use them outside on nice days, so we can get out and enjoy the weather and distance ourselves so they can take their masks off for a bit while we are learning. All the students are going to be able to return on the same day starting next week, so these will be great so we can spread out during snack time!

• Discover Scholastic News in Kindergarten!

  Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards our project. My students love the Scholastic Discovery Magazines that we have received so far. They like to take a break from our regular science and social studies lessons and hear about something new and they love the fact that they can take them home to share with their families.

  The little book tubs are also amazing, especially for this new "normal" of limited sharing right now. The kids all have their own book tub with books that they picked out. When it is their turn to visit the Reading Center they can grab their tub and a cozy spot and read their books. They are really loving it so far. The bright colors really caught their attention.

  Thank you for making a difference in my classroom. I appreciate it. The magazines will keep coming each week for the entire school year and the tubs will be around for years to come. :)”

• OSMO Learning in Kindergarten

  Thank you so much for your kindness and support of our OSMO project. The kids love the OSMO learning kits. They have amazing math, reading, and STEM lessons (but the kids think they are playing games.) I love when they are learning and don't even realize it. We are just now getting started using these and the kids are so excited when it is their turn to use the iPads.

  My students were so excited when the items arrived, however then we were shut down due to COVID19. We just got back and now my new bunch of kiddos are just as excited to learn with them.

• Printer for Remote Learning!

  Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness donating towards my printer and paper project. I was able to print out materials during quarantine and then deliver activities to my families. They were so grateful that I was able to get them materials to help with their at home learning when we were on remote learn in only.

  This year I have already started using it to print materials in color to send home to our students that are "At Home" only learning and give to my in class students to use Pattern Blocks at home, since we are on an A/B schedule. The kids can use them on their "At Home" day. We are limited on color ink at our school, so I can print on my printer in color now without any worries.

• Supplies for Success Part 2

  Oh my goodness! These supplies have been amazing to have to get our school year started out the right way! We are currently in school on an alternating schedule to reduce the number of kiddos in the building. But, my kids were ready to go day one with their very own individual supplies, thanks to my amazing supporters!

  We love the little crayon holders, individual glue sticks, erasers, and pencils. The kids also love the journals and enjoy writing a daily sentence in them and drawing a picture to go along with it. It has been a wonderful tool as well to have kids to complete on their "At Home" learning day. It was so nice not to have to ask families to purchase supplies for the kiddos. I appreciate your kindness and support always! 💗”

• Supplies for Success in Kindergarten!

  Thank you so much for your support and kindness to get these much needed supplies into our kindergarten classroom! Your support means so much to me! 💗

  The folders have been used as a homework folder to pack the kiddos "At Home" day work. We are currently on an every other day alternating schedule with the A Cohort one day and the B Cohort the next. The students have a remote learning day on their "At Home" day. We are sending work home on those days for them to do. These folders have been a life saver to get things home and back safely.

  I have also used the Ziploc baggies for their "kindergarten word" cards and the gallon sized for the Reading Bag because I can easily disinfect them each day. These pencils are also amazing. They came pre-sharpened and I have not had to sharpen them yet after 8 days.

  We are so lucky to have so many people in our corner helping our classroom! Thank you! 💗”

• Supply Backpacks for Success at Home!

  Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity to help get these supply backpacks for my kiddos. They were so excited to be able to take them home to do their homework on their remote learning days!

  I had one parent reach out because they were unable to purchase supplies for home and she was so excited when I told her these backpacks would be coming home this week filled with everything they would need to learn at home. Another parent messaged me to thank me for sending home such amazing learning tools to help her teach her kiddo while he is doing the Hybrid learning model.

  I appreciate your kindness and support in making this project a reality. It was a wonderful feeling to send the backpack filled with crayons, pencils, clip boards, journals, etc. home with everything they might need to complete their assignments!”

• Learning Centers for Kindergarten Kiddos!

  Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in getting this project funded for my kindergarten students! These activities are going to keep them active and engaged in learning for years to come!

  They absolutely love the magnetic letters and we needed just a few more to make it easier to make more words for everyone in the small group and we have them now. Thanks to you all! They are going to be so excited go fishing for letters at the beginning of the year and move on to fishing for sight words in the second half of the year! Then of course we focus on sorting all year long and these new sorting centers will be great additions to practice our sorting skills!

  My students need hands-on activities to keep them busy, so all of these amazing activities are going to be perfect for our classroom! Thank you for being our "Classroom Hero!" I appreciate YOU! 💗”

• Kindergartners Love to Read at Home!

  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you all! I can not thank you all enough for your kindness and generosity to make this project a reality! I had the BEST day making my deliveries today to my students at their homes! The kids were so excited and the parents were so thankful for all the books! These books are right at my kid's reading level and they will be able to read them to their new Reading Buddy stuffed animal!

  I am so very grateful that I was able to provide these books to every child, so that my kids can keep learning and reading even though we are not able to be in our classroom right now. I appreciate all the help to make this a success! 💗”
