  • 2022-2023 Beginnig of the School Year Supplies

    Thank you so much for getting us what we needed to start out the school year! We transitioned from sharing material baskets to individual student pencik boxes. The students' desks are more organized with pencil boxes and they don't fall as often anymore. When they fall, the materials do not scatter all over the floor, causing a big distraction. The Kleenex tissues and paper towels were very handy as well. The students had been using the tissue papers and we have some more to last through the flu season. We are wiping down desks and hands with the paper towels as we don't have a sink on class.”

  • Furniture Goes a Long Way in a Classroom

    My students were so excited when I shared with them that our project was fully funded! The excitement continued once the shelves were put up and they got to use it. Thank you so very much! One side was used for the kiddos to store their backpacks and sweater/jackets. The other side was perfect for their leveled readers.

    The students no longer had to stack their backpacks in the back and no more sweaters in a pile by our side wall or falling from their seats anymore!

    We appreciate this so much! Not only did this project benefit this year but it will help every year now!”

    This classroom project was brought to life by A Northern California family and 3 other donors.
The reason why I wanted to specifically create this project is because my students and I struggle with this every day. We have no furniture in the classroom besides desks and chairs. The two cubbies will go a LONG way because it will be used to organize a classroom library, a storage place for backpacks, and winter jackets, ultimately eliminating unnecessary distractions. With your help, we can finally eliminate these distractions like daily backpacks and sweaters or jackets falling on the floor. We can finally learn without having to worry about messy leveled books at the back, which the students must access weekly and I have to swap out often due to lack of storage space. Thank you SO MUCH. This is be a forever funiture in my classroom and it will help every year.
