  • A Printer for Little Learners

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you all so much for the color printer you provided for our classroom. The printer has already made a significant impact on my students' learning in various ways. It has improved their engagement, creativity, and overall academic performance. With the availability of color printing, we are able to create visually stimulating materials like charts, graphs, diagrams, and illustrations that aid students in understanding complex concepts across different subjects. Additionally, the option to print in color has encouraged creativity among students, allowing them to create vibrant posters, artwork, and presentations that engagingly showcase their ideas and knowledge. We are very appreciative of this gift and can't thank you enough for it!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mooring

  • Rooted in Reading

    Funded Mar 3, 2020

It's hard to put into words how grateful I am for your donation to my project. I am committed to providing students with a relevant curriculum that develops lifelong skills, and it is inspiring to see so many others that share my vision for education. The books that you have funded will enable my students to have a reading curriculum that will teach them the skills they need in 3rd grade. Thank you once more for your generosity.”

  • Starting the Year Off With the Basics.

    Funded Oct 24, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom. As a teacher I often find myself buying several school supplies for my classroom and it adds up over time. With your donation we were able to have several of the school supplies we needed to get started with the school year. When all the packages started arriving the students got really excited and couldn't wait to use several of the items. These supplies have already allowed us to complete class projects together and has made our everyday activities possible. Thank you again for your support! You have made an impact!!”

  • So Many Books and Nowhere to Store Them!

    Funded Aug 4, 2019

Thank you all for your support in completing this project for my classroom. We have a brand new school and everything in it is beautiful! The only thing we were lacking in our classroom were some bookshelves to store our AR books. Thank you for helping us get those. It is because of you that our classroom has an organized area filled with books to read. The children love coming over to that area of the room and finding a book on their level to read. These bookshelves have made it so much easier to find the right book for them. Thank you again for the impact you have made!!!”

  • Eager Readers Need Your Help!

    Funded Dec 3, 2016

Thank you so much for your generous donation towards our classroom. Students are required by law to pass a third grade reading test in order to move on to the next grade level. As a result, it is imperative that I find different reading materials that keep my students engaged in reading. I teach in small groups in my classroom and the materials that have been given to us have already been implemented. The students have enjoyed using all the reading materials and get excited about reading stations. This was my goal for them and you helped us accomplish just that! I look forward to seeing their reading improve over the course of our school year. Thank you again!

    Mrs. Mooring”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mooring

Students in the third grade in North Carolina are required to pass one of the reading tests in order to go on to the next grade. As a result, reading is a subject that we focus on heavily in the classroom. Our students do not all learn at the same speed so some of these activities will help me to differentiate our reading stations. These activities will give my students an alternative and fun way to learning reading comprehension skills. These activities and games will help my students learn to enjoy reading in another way. These are games that can be reused every school year so they will not only benefit the students of this year but of the follow school years as well. Please help our classroom grow to love reading more than they do now!
