  • Active Play With Balls!!!

    Funded Jan 11, 2018

Thank you so much for all of your support to this project. Our students were able to become more physically active during recess. Thanks to your donation the physical activities were safe and organized. They have enjoyed the opportunity to have balls to use during this time. The impact that it has had on our students is amazing. Not only have they become more physically active they have also improved on their social skills with one another. We have noticed that many of them look forward to recess time on the days that they get to use the balls to play. It is heartwarming to see our students playing together and being so nice and respectful to one another.

Again thank you for your support in having this impact on our children.”

  • We Want To Be Kids And Play

    Funded Oct 31, 2017

Thank you so much for your generous contributions to our project. The students have been enjoying all the resources that this project has brought to them. During recess, we are now able to have rotating stations to allow everyone to have an opportunity to enjoy the different activities.

I must admit their favorite is the bouncing balls. They love to race across the gym. Seeing their smiles and listening to their laughter warms my heart. This is giving them an opportunity to have fun while being physically active.

Once again thank you so much for supporting our goals of being more active during recess and having fun while we are doing it. We hope you enjoy our pictures and we look forward to the spring to be able to bring these resources outside to the playground.”

Teaching is never an easy task but when you are working with third graders who crave technology and require a lot of motivation and all you have to offer is a book it makes the task that much more challenging!! I teach the English component of a third grade class. Our school is located in a high-need, low income community where English is NOT the dominant language. They work very hard to acquire English and learn the academics of their native language. I am up for the challenge but would love some assistance with visuals and motivation for my students.
