Imagine you are a first grader trying to read, write, or something else. You know you can be successful at it, but there is this one peer that keeps sniffling, there is this weird thumping coming from the hall, or your neighbor keeps tapping their pencil. All those noises keep you from concentrating. Imagine you are an active first grader with a constant case of the wiggles. You want to focus and learn, but sitting still and listening is basically torture. Noise isolating headphones are miracle workers for those students who have auditory sensitivity. I have seen the instant improvement they can give to a students concentration. Wobble cushions are a less obvious solution to an exercise ball, which means less embarrassment. That wiggly student is able to move around and focus at the same time. Having one of these supplies would be a game changer, I can't imagine the change both could make.
