Since switching math curriculums three years ago, my students do all of their homework and the majority of their formative assessments on devices. By having these tablets available to students, it will allow those who struggle with access to the online materials a means to get the same information as every other student. Sometimes students can check out devices from the school library, but during testing season, all of these devices are being utalized for testing, so there aren’t any available for check out. This restricts student’s access to practice problems and inhibits their ability to build their mathematical knowledge. I want my students to have access to online tutorials and extensions to solidify their math knowledge throughout the entire school year.
