Ink in A Blink!
Funded Dec 13, 2018Thank you so much for all your continued support. We are so grateful that we have access to technology and ink inside our classroom. We use the ink on a daily basis. We are able to print out student typed work that the children work really hard on. We are also able to print any worksheets we need from the internet and computer. We are able to use the ink for pictures of NYC past and present which we are learning about. The ink gave us access to so many more things we needed. Everyone in the classroom benefits from this.”

Hearing With Headphones!
Funded Sep 18, 2018Thank you so much for your continued support. The children were so excited when they saw the headphones. These headphones have been such a great addition to our classroom. Now when we are in literacy centers, the children are able to listen to stories being read to them on their tablets. You can not imagine how helpful this is especially for those children who struggle with reading. it is also important to be read to. We are so grateful for this technology and could not be more thankful. Once again, thank you.”

Tablets for Tots!
Funded May 18, 2018Thank you so much for continuing to support the children in our classroom. As the world is changing, we are trying to incorporate more technology into our classroom. Thanks to all of you, we now have 7 tablets. The children are super excited and cannot wait to use them. We will be using them to check our work, scan QR codes and so much more. They are excited because the first thing we are going to use them for is something called Kahoot. We will share pictures once we get them up and running. Thanks again.”

Protect Our Tablets!
Funded May 23, 2018We are so appreciative for all your help in funding this project. Technology is such an important part of the world we live in. Having tablets in the classroom will allow children to work on math skills and reading. They will be able to practice math facts and listen to stories being read to them as well as work on their comprehension. These tablets are so exciting to them because it gives them time away from their workbooks, but still provides instruction. Everyone in the class looks forward to using the tablets. Thank you!”

Having ink for our printers allows them to do this. Our copier is also put to good use when having to work with different worksheets. It is important for the children to use technology as often as possible because in the society we live in, technology plays a big role. The children can not wait to have their own computer to access information and complete research assignments. Having this technology in the classroom is such a great asset because it can be used for everything. The children will learn how to use the online dictionary and practice typing their completed work and so many other things. They are super excited that this can now be done in their own classroom and not have to go to the computer lab. Thanks so much for all the continued support.”

Funded Mar 10, 2018Thank you so much for funding this awesome project. Our students were thrilled when they saw the abundance of sensory objects we now have in the classroom. They look forward to being able to choose which one would suit them the best and use it for the day. They have the option of choosing daily and making different choices to see what works for them. This helps keep them focused and on task. They are able to fidget while completing their classwork. Each day we take turns and the children come in looking forward to being able to walk over to our sensory bin. Thanks for all the support.”

White Boards are the WRITE Boards!
Funded Nov 17, 2017Thank you so much for your generous donations. Having these white boards in the classroom gives our students the ability to solve their math problems an practice their math facts in a fun and productive manner. The children are able to use these materials in so many different ways. They really enjoy playing math games and working in pairs using these. They are more productive and excited to partake in math work now that we have one for each child. Our students were so excited when they saw these materials. They could not believe that they each have their own board, eraser and marker. Thank you so much for all the support.”

Less Chaos! More Chair Pockets!
Funded Sep 20, 2017When we first got these chair pockets, the children jumped for joy! They were super excited to have extra space to store their supplies. They were now able to organize their desks and use the chair pockets to keep their supplies in order. This helped them with their organizational skills and allowed them to quickly and easily access their notebooks. They no longer need to empty their desk in search of supplies because of the extra space they now have. They are extremely grateful for these chair pockets!”
