Imagine a classroom full of four and five year olds. The teacher is modeling how to complete an activity on a popular educational app on the iPads. Each child has his or her own iPad to complete the task. (Thanks to a wonderful grant.) The teacher then allows for the children to spread out and work independently. The assignment requires creating a video. The students are so close together that you can hear other children's voices on videos of their neighbors.
A simple solution to the problem of recording your neighbor's voice is to spread the children out around the classroom using the Flex-Space Wobble Cushions. Each child would have a designated space to stay in to work. This would cut down on distractions from neighbors, and allow for a more effective pathway for the teacher to move from child to child. Finally, the students could easily stack the cushions for easy clean up. It's a win-win for everyone!
