  • Rolling Along With Coding and Programming Sphero Robots!

    I cannot possibly thank you enough for your generosity and thoughtfulness in donating these Sphero robots to my students! This has been a MASSIVE game changer and igniter for all 400 K-8 students at my school.

    Not only do the kids want to "play with the robots" every day, but they have learned so much about coding, programming, math and science - and students represented from all spectrums of academic and emotional support are absolutely thriving and are thrilled on sharing what they learn with their peers and teachers!!”

  • Hear, Ye! Hear Ye! Sturdy Headsets for Our Computer Lab!

    We are extremely grateful for your kindness and generosity - our students are THRILLED with the new headphones in the computer Lab!!! These enable students to focus on many projects and activities without getting distracted by other noises in the room. Students are able to create multimedia projects like animation, movies, create code, work on specific interactive math and reading applications, and so much more. With sometimes 34 students in a classroom, these headphones are a luxurious necessity! The biggest thank you from my students is the ability to really focus on tasks - and they said this has upped their learning game. Many, many thanks again from all of us.”

Not only will my students acquire crucial technology and problem solving skills needed for the 21st Century, but they will be able to teach each other, as well as peers in other grades and content levels - and their non-tech teachers how to code, program and debug! We also have an annual technology competition in which we participate each year, and that is such a fantastic opportunity for my inner city students. Who wouldn’t want to learn how to program a robot to move, roll, moo like a cow, turn, light up, speak and more?!

About my class
