I serve students in first through twelfth grades in one of the lowest-income districts in the state. We're located in a small community northeast of Dallas, and approximately eighty percent of our students are transfer students from other districts. My students make up the dyslexic and gifted/talented populations of Boles ISD. Our classroom is extreme, creative, and innovative despite our low socioeconomic status. My students turn trash into treasure and use whatever resources we can find to learn and make things work. It is my desire to build our supply of resources that will help prepare my students to live in today's modern world.
