I teach Special Education Preschool students, ages 3-5, in a Title I School in Arizona. I currently have 31 students between my morning and afternoon classes. Most of my student's are English Language Learners and are being raised by a single parent. Many of them do not have access to books while at home. Everyday we have story time with a limited amount of literature, most of which is all beaten up. Having access to classic reading material will greatly impact my student's learning of language, comprehension, and life lessons. These books will spark the imagination in each student as well as create memories that they will remember throughout their lives.
