Building Blocks to Fun in the Library
Funded Feb 12, 2024We received the four boxes of Keva blocks purchased with your generous contributions, and we can't wait to see what our students create. I'm 100% sure their creations will be dazzling!
These blocks will be used during free time in the library and on Fun Fridays in the gym, in combination with other free play items we received with a previous DonorsChoose grant. I know the kids are going to love them.
Your support makes difference by providing a much needed creative outlet and an incentive for good behavior and improved attendance.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Barton
Game On in the Library
Funded Aug 15, 2023It was like Christmas morning in the library when the DonorsChoose resources started to arrive. I wish you could have seen the excitement on the faces of the students as we unwrapped the boxes and set up the game pieces.
We have been able to use the game materials in a variety of ways. Not only are we making use of the resources during weekly library time, but we are also using the materials during "Fun Friday" activities in our gym. During that time, we have group planning with all the students. It's been a great motivator to help us improve school attendance on Fridays.
Thanks for making our school a better place.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Barton
This classroom project was brought to life by The State of Oklahoma and 2 other donors.Lights, Action . . . Camera?
Funded Oct 2, 2009My students, my teachers, and I are certainly "flipping" for our new Flip Video Camera.
We love how easy the Flip camera is to operate. Why even a 4th grader can use it! Plus, it allows teachers to add a valuable visual component to lessons. Kids want to "shine" when they know others are going to see their work.
Sonic is a great community partner. Thank you for all you do for our school! And watch out Limeades for Learning - here we come again!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Barton
