Magic with Manipulatives!
Funded Dec 18, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. We just received these new manipulative materials and are so excited to be using them. The children especially enjoy using these during their "Friday Free Time," which is a special treat if they complete their work by Friday.
The children love the various fine motor activities in this Donors Choose project. There are four heavy duty bins filled with different manipulatives, including "pipe builders" and "stack and create waffle bricks." The children are so creative with how they use the materials to build different shapes!

Help Repair Our Classroom Printer!
Funded Sep 4, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to this project! I was so excited to receive the drum and ink cartridge for our classroom printer and immediately put them to use. We have not been able to use the classroom printer for quite a while, and these donated materials allowed me to repair it and make it functional again.
It's so convenient to be able to print classroom materials from this printer, and I've been able to produce materials for the children much more easily now. Thank you again for your generosity and support of our public Montessori classroom.”

Funded Aug 15, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to this project. We received these materials just in time for the beginning of the school year, and we immediately put them to use.
The children are especially enjoying the hexagon puzzles, and the variety of puzzles is really challenging them. I also received heavy duty laminating sheets and have been able to laminate a number of our new paper materials. The grape cutter is being used for a grape slicing lesson, which the children love to do. Thank you again for your generosity and support of our public Montessori classroom.”

Funded Jun 27, 2023I was so excited to receive these new materials before the start of our new school year! Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom. We are already using all of these new items this year. The book storage bins are being used to house leveled readers for the K5 students, and the paper storage trays are holding all of the various copies that we need in our classroom. The paper trays are so useful because the children can be independent in finding the papers that they need!

Rockin' Out With a New Rocking Chair!
Funded Apr 19, 2023Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom! We were so excited to open up this new rocking chair and set it up in the reading area of our classroom. Our school year just started a few days ago, and the new reading area has been a wonderful place for new students to relax and look at books. Our previous rocking chair broke before the end of the school year, and the children were so excited to see a new one in its place.

Vocabulary Card Sets for Success!
Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our public Montessori classroom! We were so excited to receive these materials and set them up on the shelf. When our classroom flooded over winter break, all of our vocabulary cards were destroyed and needed to be replaced. These new materials are a welcome addition to our classroom!
The youngest children are using the matching cards to match different kinds of bugs and practice that vocabulary. The older children are using the phonetic reading cards to practice their literacy skills. Thank you again for your generosity and support!”

Funded Apr 3, 2023Thank you so much for your generous support! Over winter break, our classroom flooded and many of our math materials were badly water-damaged. These new materials are a welcome replacement!
The children love practicing their math facts using the addition and subtraction boards. The boards help with assisting in their memorization of addition and subtraction math facts as they progress to more abstract mathematical concepts. The multiplication bead board is a great way for the children to practice difficult multiplication equations. Thank you again for your support!”

Funded Mar 22, 2023Thank you so much for your generous support of public Montessori classroom! We were so excited to receive these materials and begin using them immediately. Over winter break, our classroom flooded and our botany puzzles were badly water-damaged. This beautiful new botany cabinet is a welcome replacement for those materials.
The children love to trace and color the parts of a tree, leaf and flower. They practice their cursive by labeling the various parts, and then they can practice reading with the nomenclature booklets.

Help Replace Our Animal Puzzles!
Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! We greatly appreciate your support of our public Montessori work. We were so excited to receive these materials and unpack them. Our classroom flooded over winter break, and all of our animal puzzles and animals books were destroyed.
The children love using the animal puzzles to trace the parts of each animal and label them in cursive. This is a great way for them to practice their handwriting, spelling, and fine motor skills. They also use the nomenclature books to practice their reading and comprehension.

Funded Feb 8, 2023Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom! Our new bookshelf arrived today, and we immediately unpacked it and placed it in the independent reading area of the classroom. Our previous bookshelf was damaged when our classroom flooded over winter break, so this new bookshelf is a welcome replacement.
Currently, the new bookshelf houses several books for the children to look at and read throughout the morning. They love sitting in the rocking chair and enjoying quiet reading time. The new bookcase is beautiful and sturdy. Thank you again for your support of our classroom!”
