• Games Make Learning FUN!

  Your support with this project meant SO much to my students and I. As you can see on all the photos, students are engaged, playing and learning ALL while having fun. Students are playing math and improving their fluency. However, games are more than just 'games.' Students are learning to take turns, take wins gracefully and loses with stride.

• Group Work Made Easy

  My heart if filled with gratitude. THANK YOU for your support on this project. While the original materials requested were not available at the time the project was funded, my students and I were still able to make GREAT use of your support.

  With the funding in this project, we were able to purchase multiple books for our science unit on biomes. You should have seen my students' faces and how happy they were to be able to read (in Spanish) brand-new books in so many different topics.

  Children LOVE the small chairs (we have to take turns using them...everyone wants to sit on them-even adults).They are able to sit comfortably anywhere in the classroom while having their backs supported. We have used them for small groups, partnerships, whole group lessons and more.

  These 2 chairs have become the classroom's favorite. Working in small groups, working on the rug, or anywhere in the room is not possible thanks to you. It may seem like something so small, but having back supports while we work together is huge. We are comfortable and we can concentrate on the task rather than our bodies.
