My classroom is very diverse. It is the complete opposite of the kind of community I grew up in. School is a safe place for them. They go home at night not knowing what to expect and even if they get dinner that night. They love to learn new things and are very curious learners. I have a wide range of learners in my classroom. Some of them learn easier when seeing something, while others have to be hands on to learn something. They deserve to have every opportunity possible. Their personalities are priceless and their smiles can brighten your day.
