  • Achoo! Excuse Me

    Funded Jul 2, 2024

Thank you so much for your kindness with donating the much needed Kleenexes for our class. You can imagine how many boxes we go through as class teaching two classes of 26 students. This often become an expense I take on myself. You generosity has alleviated that expense and you are helping to provide the much needed resources so that our classroom runs smoothly and effectively. It takes a village to raise a child. Our community partners are so crucial with helping our schools and classrooms succeed. We appreciate your willingness to help our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Barger

  • Personalized Learning

    Funded Apr 26, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity with providing headphones for our class. The students work so hard each day with completing personalized lessons. This means that every student is completing a different lesson at the same time that is prepared for their needs. There are videos and talking in these lessons. If everyone is playing videos at the same time it can be very distracting.

Your willingness to help our classroom by providing headphones, helps us in so many ways. Students are able to learn free from distractions and stay focused. Our success and achievements are because of your kindness.”

  • Recess Fun

    Funded Dec 12, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity and providing funding toward the items we were able to purchase for our recess time. We were able to get soccer balls, jump ropes, and many other sports items. We were also able to purchase magnifying glasses for students to use and observe nature.

We are loving our recess time and all the many activities we get to participate in because of your kindness and funding that allowed us to purchase the items we wanted. We have so much fun at recess now and are able to have fun with our friends.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Barger

  • Essential Needs

    Funded May 12, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity with providing the essential items we needed in our classroom. My students were amazed at all the items we got. The Kleenexes and paper towels are some of the most essential items we can have in the classroom. It has been so nice not having to worry about whether we had enough for students to use.

With our students coming from struggling families, donors like you help to take a lot of the burden off of parents and teachers. These items are used daily in our classroom and we have had all the essential items to help make our classroom a success. Thank you again for all your help.”

  • Yay! Incentives!

    Funded Jan 22, 2023

Thank you so much for providing the incentives for the class. Each week the students get to pick out one of the incentives for good behavior and working hard in the classroom. They were so excited to have choices to choose from and not just candy each week. The favorite incentive for most of the students were the erasers. They were able to come apart like Legos and they could rebuild the erasers to make new and interesting erasers. A lot of the students loved the pencils as well with the cute erasers on top. The fruit snacks were very helpful when students were late and missed breakfast. Thank you so much for your generosity and caring heart to help our students and community.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Barger

  • Clean and Healthy

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

I can't even begin to put into words how much we appreciate your generosity and donating the much needed items you donated. With 54 students, we go through almost a box of Kleenex a day. When I was purchasing this myself it added up fast.

The Kleenexes and paper towels you purchased for us was much needed and very much appreciated. Although it may seem these items are not much they are used daily.

My students were so excited when we got all of the items in. One student made the comment that they would not have to use the hard brown towels in the bathroom to blow their nose when we run out of Kleenex's. She said the brown towels scratch her nose.”

  • Coloring Our Creativity

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity in funding my project. You helped to provide colored pencils for all my students. My students love drawing and coloring and completing projects in the classroom. Most of them are unable to provide their own colored pencils. The funding of this project allowed my students to have the necessary and much-needed supplies to complete their projects.

Your generosity is very much appreciated and please know that you have helped a classroom and students in their success of learning.”

  • My Students are Sharp

    Funded Jul 3, 2022

Providing needed supplies for students in Title I schools can become a challenge and most of the time the needed supplies teachers buy themselves. This can become expensive over time. Your generosity helped to meet a need our classroom had and provided the needed supplies to help make our classroom successful.

Pencil sharpeners are used continuously throughout the day and over time they wear out quickly. The sharpeners that you provided have been a much-needed supply that has helped in our classroom success. It has also helped with our creative projects in providing two colored pencil sharpeners as well.

We appreciate your generosity and willingness to help our school and students. Your help provides success for our students and helps them to know that their community appreciate their hard work and want to provide the needed resources to support their learning.”

  • A Pencil a Day Makes a Student Successful

    Funded Feb 8, 2022

Your generosity provided pencils for our classroom. This allowed us to be able to complete work and be productive. We appreciate you wanting to contribute to the success of our classroom.

Students were so excited when we received all our items. They also loved the goodie bags you brought the next week for them as well. It's community leaders like yourself that help to make our schools successful and impact the lives of all our students.

We currently have a project to receive funding and items for incentives for the students. When students make a 100 on Iready lessons, they get to fill in a space on a chart. Once they get 25 hundreds they trade their card in for an incentive. Those incentives can be chips, drinks, candy bars, or candy. It helps to keep the students motivated and makes learning a little more fun.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Barger

In Fourth Grade students work hard to achieve their goals. After Covid shutdowns many students are behind grade level and working hard each and every day to close the gap. In our classroom we use blended learning to help close the gap lost from the shutdowns. I work hard to teach a love for reading that will last a lifetime. We are a Title I school and do not always have the needed supplies and resources for my students to be successful while using the blended learning approach. Help from the community is essential in providing the needed resources and supplies to help make my students and classroom a success. It takes a community to shape our future leaders so that the next generation makes the world a better place than the previous. Success in reading is so important to paving the way for our students to be successful in every avenue of life.
