  • An Exciting Fresh Start!

    Funded Aug 2, 2022

I really appreciate the effort that goes into helping me and my students. I am in constant appreciation for what everyone is willing to do for me, and for my students' education. Every donation helps my students and myself become a better classroom and the joy on their faces when they get their materials, is the best feeling.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Escobar

  • Perking Up the Classroom

    Funded Mar 28, 2022

Thank you for supporting my students and for providing them with basic materials that they need for their day-to-day learning. They know these supplies are being donated to them, and they feel the love that they are receiving from their community and great people like you.

    Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Escobar

  • New Home

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

The impact of your donation is still rippling. Because of the inconsistency of school this year, the resources you were able to provide for us are being used by ALL of third grade, not just my classroom. We've been able to share with each other these materials so that they can reach even more kids in need. While my students are enjoying their materials without having to worry about having their own or not ( not everyone can afford scissors), what they most resonated with was the fact that there was a stranger out there willing to help. They felt SO loved, and that is all that matters.

    Thank you so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Escobar

  • Virtual Scientists

    Funded May 10, 2021

Your donation during one the hardest years in education helped not only in providing us with what we needed in the classroom, but also with the love that we needed to feel. Starting in a new school while in a pandemic was scary, but your help gave me the boost of confidence I needed, and the materials my students and I were lacking. We are really appreciative of your donation and your caring heart for our classroom. These gifts have been used and enjoyed in the last few months, and we cannot wait to continue!”

    With gratitude,

  • Making a Home- 1st year

    Funded Mar 3, 2015

Thank you so much for donating to my students and our classroom, my students are very happy to find out that there are complete strangers out there who are willing to make a sacrifice in order to help them succeed. The resources that we were able to get thanks to your donation has helped us tremendously. Not only were we able to purchase the standard school supplies( scissors, markers, glue, etc), but we also received new resources that make it fun for the student to learn and easy for me as a tool for many activities. My students are using all the materials on a daily basis without having conflict of not having enough, but we're also being able to use some resources for extra activities and tutoring. The individual whiteboards have my students motivated enough to want to participate in any given activity, which helps me when planning new interventions or in-class hands-on activities. Many of the students who weren't willing to talk before are coming out more through the writing on the boards.

On behalf of my fourth graders, I want to thank you for this sweet gesture. The help that you've brought to my students is great, and the love they feel from you is even greater.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Escobar

I'm very fortunate to be at the school where I'm currently teaching. This is my first year as a teacher, and it's taken me by surprise for sure! I am teaching 4th graders who come from a humble background. Many of these students come from very large families, so their constant need for attention is something that I deal with on a daily basis. They come from families with a a very low SES, but even though my students don't have it easy, they are not giving up. I am able to see a light in them everyday, as they come to my class eager to learn. (Most days, at least). Although they can misbehave at times, it is very rewarding to see them working and striving hard. Their excitement to learn and their love for me as their teacher, makes them not give up and succeed, no matter how difficult their personal lives may be. My school is Title 1, and although it does its best, there's so much that can be done to help everyone.
