    Thank you so much for helping my students. They love their classroom and all the beautiful things in it. We have set up a calming corner that helps them regulate their big emotions and helps them refocus and stay in the classroom.

    The plant life theme helps them to keep calm when remembering how much they have to grow this year. With these new times and heavy work loads, they loved the simplicity of the decorations.

  • Headphones for Best Test Results

    The students really tapped into their learning after getting their headphones! They loved to listen to books while they practiced reading. They loved watching videos that helped them learn differnt ways to mutlply and divide.

    The best impact was that the kids knew that someone was investing in them and their future. This motivated them to keep on learning when times were tough. They worked extra hard to tune into their lessons and give learning their best effort. More than once, students used their free breaks to listen to books instead of coloring or playing at recess. It was amazing to see.”

  • Support Interactive Learning in Worcester

    My students have been enjoying the new technology so much! We have used them in science to create a visual representation of data from experiments. We have used them in math to work on differentiated work based on our levels. We have used them in writing to draft and edit essays on topics inside and outside of the classroom.

    Today our lesson in math was about algebra. Students who showed readiness for algebra used the Chromebooks to complete assigned work online that would increase difficulty as they showed understanding. We really challenged ourselves. The other students worked on the rug with the teacher and watched helpful videos to help us understand the concept more. Everyone was benefiting from the technology that you provided.

    A group of the lower students in our class has made huge improvements in their classwork by using the technology to fill in gaps from previous years. They practice typing and research almost every day. These are huge skills that are only made possible by your donations. Thank you!”

Normally we would read about them in the book and fill in a worksheet to connect the parts picture with their name.
