  • Lego and Snacks Needed!

    Funded Apr 27, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity and help. My students will be so incredibly excited!! They have been working on an ongoing Lego dinosaur project since December and we’ve run out of Lego. They will be so happy that they get to continue their project. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

  • We Want SCOOTERS for P.E.!

    Funded Apr 24, 2022

P.E. is a historically difficult time for my class due to overstimulation and lack of structure, plus the students are so bored with our current limited P.E. Equipment. These scooters were a game changer for PE for my students. They absolutely LOVE them. They play games using the scooters, invent their own games, play with peers and with staff, and then can also use them for sensory breaks.

These scooters have had such a positive impact on the kiddos and I cannot thank you enough. They are excited to go to PE, stay for the entirety of the class and everyone participates. It is incredible.”

  • Language Arts - Celebrating Black Joy!

    Funded Apr 5, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous gift. My students LOVED reading Simon B Rhymin. They really enjoyed reading about a fellow 4th grader and could really see themselves in the book.

It so important to highlight and celebrate Black joy. The author of this book is a fantastic educator and role model, so thank you for donating, and in turn supporting him, too.

Thank you for gifting my students these incredible books. My kiddos love it so much, that some of them have read it more than once. I cannot thank you enough.”

  • Mom Reached Out for Help.

    Funded Nov 21, 2020

Thank you so incredibly much for all of your support in helping my students. This particular student (and family) was really in need and with your help, we were able to provide some new clothes for this student. He was thrilled to have clothes that actually fit him! We were able to get him new pajamas, new pants, a new sweatshirt, new socks, and some t-shirts. He was absolutely thrilled.

I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. His mom said she would forever be grateful. Thank you again!”

  • My Special Ed. Students Need Your Help!

    Funded Sep 27, 2020

I cannot thank you enough for all of your help. Because of your generosity, I was able to provide my students with new materials across a variety of subjects and incentive items (snacks, legos, stickers) to give to students for showing up to virtual class, completing assignments, etc. These are crucial when students are expected to set up their own learning space and successfully learn from their living room couches/bedroom/dining room floor.

With your help, I was able to get everyone a new yoga mat for Mindfulness, movement breaks, and virtual P.E.. I was also able to get everyone new notebooks, sketchbooks, stylus pens for their Ipads, STEM materials (legos, play dough), Math comics, and so much more.

As a result of all of your donations, I was able to start the school year with a fully stocked classroom. This gave me more wiggle room, in terms of spending during the holidays, to provide students with a few gifts. We were also able to have a virtual pajama day (with matching fleece pants) and a popcorn party.

Due to the pandemic, this school year has been filled with fear and anxiety, on top of budget cuts, loss of P cards, and overall uncertainty.

In an extremely tumultuous time, you were a ray of sunshine.

You helped me create a safe and positive classroom environment for my students, even if it was through Zoom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lendo

I teach 3rd-5th grade special education and one my students really needs your help. My student's mom reached out for help. They are struggling. My student has outgrown all of his clothes and mom isn't able to get him new ones. She said that anything would help. They were houseless in the past and have recently gotten back on their feet. Mom is beyond grateful for any help she receives. I would like to support them both the best I can. This kiddo deserves the world, so I would love to be able to provide some clothes that fit, at the very least.
