Funded Nov 30, 2022The cooking cart and supplies have brought a lot of joy, creativity, and community to our classroom. Since receiving the cart we have used apples from our snack to make cinnamon apple chips, tortilla pizza, deviled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sliced veggies with hummus, a frozen yogurt pie, various fruit smoothies, pigs in a blanket, and green mint-chocolate chip pancakes for St. Patrick's day! The class is excited to continue to learn how to make new recipes. The students have enjoyed connecting fractions to a real life purpose and it has helped further their understanding of the various values. Thank you for giving our class these fun and exciting learning opportunities!”
