Baseplates for LEGO Masters

I cannot thank you enough for your generous contribution towards my grant. When the grant became fulfilled, I knew that LEGO Club would change in the best way possible. There would be no more asks of "who would be getting the big baseplate," when now, there are baseplates for every student.

My students have been able to bring their creations to life and have the ability to stabilize their builds. With having different colored baseplates, they have been able to exercise their autonomy and choose which colored baseplate they want. A lot of them enjoy choosing the blue one, as they use it to pretend it's water and like to build islands and mansions on them.

With their new resources, the students have been able to showcase their creativity and inspire each other to make bigger builds. They have become eager to build in teams in the hope of executing a bigger concept. One of my students even showed me a new technique using the baseplates! All in all, LEGO Club has become the most in-demand club, as it's resource-readiness has brought interest with the students and the staff.”
