  • A Snack a Day Keeps Our Scholar Artists in Play!

    Oh my goodness! Thank you! This came right on time! I am all out of snacks for my students. They will be SO excited to have some nourishment during their very long academic plus art conservatory days. Thank you so much for the donation.   • Classroom Therapy Gecko

    This project has been amazing, particularly for lowering stress levels! I wasn't joking when I called it our therapy gecko project.

    Our gecko's name is Manu, short for Manola, the multilingual learner mascot. She lives in the terrarium you helped fund, in room 325, which is our multilingual learner (ML) resource room. During our ML study hall students take turns, on a weekly calendar, taking care of Manu. They went through training on cleanliness, feeding, handling and safety. Each week a new student wants to be a caretaker, so already-trained MLs train new students as new interest arises. Students love taking her out, handling her and feeding her.”
