  • Crazy for Computers!

    Funded Dec 30, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations to allow our classroom to have this charging station. This has been a lifesaver and a game changer in our classroom. The students are able to get and put away their own chrome books while making sure that they are charged each night. It is hard for students to remember to plug in their devices but with this cart it is a no brainer! It is so easy to use in kid friendly, and makes our transitions much quicker in the classroom. I cannot begin to thank you enough we are so grateful .”

  • H2 Oh Boy Do We Need Water!

    Funded May 4, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donation to make these water bottle holders possible. The students are so excited to have a place to store their water that's out of their way so their papers don't get wet and they can save their desk space. The water bottle holders are so convenient and they go perfectly with our new water bottle refill station that her school just installed! I cannot begin to thank you enough for going above and beyond and these water bottle holders will benefit students year after year for many years to come. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

  • Chromebook Craze

    Funded Nov 12, 2020

I am beyond grateful for your amazing donation. Due to the situation of covid 19, students are unable to share computers in our classroom. Giving us another computer allows students to be assigned to that computer for the day where they can use it to access educational games, complete centers, work on writing, respond to reading, or play educational games during indoor recess. Students love to research facts and information that correlate with the writing, and are able to gain useful technology skills each day. I cannot begin to thank you enough for your generosity!”

  • Books, Books for Everyone!

    Funded Mar 16, 2021

I cannot begin to thank you enough for your generous donation to our classroom!

Students enter my classroom at all different reading levels each year. These decodable books will benefit so many students for many years to come. The students are able to access these books during small group time so that they have a resource that is at their instructional level where they can practice becoming fluent readers. These decodable books correlate with our phonics scope and sequence to allow students to grow as readers and gives them useful tools and resources so they have books in hand. I cannot begin to thank you enough and appreciate all of your donation so very very much.”

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! The students love working on the computer as a choice during centers. They are able to complete research projects, read and respond to questions that correlate with state testing, and use it to play educational games during indoor recess when the weather doesn't cooperate! We are so happy, thankful, and excited that people like you give generous donations to make learning in our classroom more fun! Students love getting on the computer and thanks to you, they now have this option. I am forever grateful and cannot begin to thank you enough for this computer will last for many years to come.”

  • Fresh Air, We Care!

    Funded Nov 12, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donations during this difficult time. My class is super excited to have this amazing fresh air filter in our classroom. We can totally tell the difference when we breathe in the fresh air in our classroom and it makes a world of difference. The students are so excited about it and I feel so special because we are the only class to actually have one! With all that is going on in this world I am beyond grateful that you were able to make a difference in our classroom this year and many years to come!”

Thank you so much for the writing journals. They are so engaging in student friendly. My kids are having a blast putting all of their thoughts onto paper and transferring it into a paragraph. We are beyond grateful and cannot thank you enough for all of the generous donations to make this possible for our classroom. The students get so excited when I tell them to take out their writing journals and that has never happened before! We have enough journals to last us a few years and I can't wait to share this resource for years to come!”

  • Storyworks for Second Grade!

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom yet again! We are so excited to have story works during this time in our classroom. We started the year out in person and were able to utilize our first magazine together. Now that we are full remote students were able to take their next magazine home so that they have a hands-on materials and then I am able to use the platform to present and go through the lesson virtually. This could not have come at a better time and we are so excited to use this amazing resource and have access to literacy at home visual through the computer and interesting topics to read about through this magazine.”

  • Legos for Learning

    Funded Sep 4, 2020

Thank you so much for the amazing donations to support the legos for learning in my classroom. We use these legos every single day for math, and I put the legos in individual kits for indoor recess play on a day where the weather prohibits our class from going outside. The students love using the Legos to add and subtract in math, and then they get a build with him for fun when they are done. During this time we have to find ways to be creative and to keep the students engaged and your generous donation allowed that to happen. I could not be more thankful for all that you do to support our children!”

My students come from a diverse background of different cultures. They all have limited access to technology at home and minimal parental support. They enter third grade extremely below grade level, and require a ton of intervention. These students are eager to learn and love to be exposed to new materials and lessons. The students in my classroom and the district as a whole are of low economic status and overly appreciate anything new they are exposed to in the classroom. The intermediate school is made up of grades 3-5 with 16 classrooms of each grade. We have three co teach classrooms per grade level and two pull out intervention specialists per grade level.
