Flexibility Creates Success!
Funded Feb 28, 2019Wow , we were so excited to open the big boxes and start building the start of our classroom coming alive!
We are so grateful for your help in providing us an environment where all of our learning styles are represented. In this diverse environment we are able to delve into learning without feeling restricted . It is so much better to be in an environment where you are stimulated and learning is fun.
All of you (our donors) have helped us to feel stimulated and comfortable. We really appreciate all of you for helping us and reaching out to others. It sets such a great example , to "pay it forward". This is just the start of our "Flexibility creates success "project .

Funded Nov 10, 2016My class and I are so thankful for your support in helping us achieve our goals and thrive into the world of technology. We are all enjoying coding with the spheros and learning correct controls , along with our photography skills and the 3d printer. The 3d printer has taken us to a new dimension and helped us create shapes and objects learning dimension along with the basic construction of modern technology.
Again all 26 of my students can not be more thankful for your support and showing them that goals can be achieved for the right reasons and that community comes out to help education and our youth.”

Learning 101: The Kids Take Over

Thank you so much for donating to Donors Choose. My students were so excited to expand their learning through photography skills, and creative seating. You have enhanced their learning to a deeper level of the "new" world of technology and collaboration. By having creative seating and being able to feel comfortable at ease , it has created a wonderful learning environment for them to increase their creativity in a relaxed situation. In addition the use of photography has created a new horizon for us to focus on skills and technology that is unlike any other experience. For some of my students it ha created an enrichment and excitement in a new realm of photography and opened all of the students eyes to details and focusing on intricate technical skills as well.

Step It Up: Take Learning to the Next Level
Funded Sep 28, 2015My students are very comfortable with the use of technology for research and reference . Coding takes them into a whole different realm of the use of technology . This now brings them into the future where coding and organizing to create something that they can move, control and apply a purpose to is exciting and brings learning to a whole other level .
We can not thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to enhance our technical skills and have fun with it .
Each student has an opportunity to take home sphere and experiment with the coding and purposes that can help it become useful within our classroom and in real life situations .
We have had many laughs through collaboration with using the sphere and coding together.”

Changing the World Two iPads at a Time!
Funded Sep 17, 2014On behalf of all of my 24 students , I would like to thank you for your kindness, initiative and drive to help us achieve our goal for the two ipad's.
This extension of technology has helped us individually and as a group have the capacity to research , create and develop our minds , with a world of knowledge .
Not only are we able to research , we have learned how to start the process of coding so that we will be prepared in the future for the endless possibilities of technology .

iTeach - iLearn - iPad
Funded Sep 2, 2014It is very difficult to put in words the impact you have made within our classroom . Through technology the world has opened the opportunity to help us delve into research and continue in the world of "apple".
Our class has had the opportunity to build on the skills and programs they learned the basics to from kindergarten to now , and are able to continue in the world of apple technology with your help .
We have created jeopardy games , music videos through garage band , these are things we could not have done with out the ipads, that your generous efforts provided
Educating young people is creating the foundation of our future .
You have invested in the future by helping our class continue on their path of apple technology .

Funded Oct 26, 2011This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation towards our smart tablet.The smart tablet that you had donated helps my students in so many avenues . It has enabled us to go further in our research skills, technology abilities and capable of learning together different technology skills and techniques. We have already achieved so much in creating movies and power points in the world of science and their experts. These skills will not be applied only in a classroom setting but provide the foundation to enable my students to be prepared for the real world of technology. We have so much more to achieve with technology,but you have all provided us with such a great start!
