  • Empowering Confidence With Essential Supplies

Thank you so much for your generous donation and interest in supporting my classroom. Your contribution will make a meaningful difference, providing my students with valuable resources and opportunities to learn and grow. • Summer STEM

    Funded May 18, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation to our summer STEM kits. The kits were a huge hit with my students as they left for the summer. I heard from many of my families over the summer that the kids had so much fun continuing their learning into the summer months.

I love to keep my students thinking and experimenting even when they leave my classroom and your donation made this possible. In a time where tablets and phones are so easily accessible, it is awesome to hear so many stories of my students building and experimenting this summer.

Thank you so much for making this possible!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Leath

  • Books, Books and More Books, We Can't Stop Reading!

    Funded Dec 26, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation for books for my classroom. After teaching more than 10 years my classroom library was really showing its age. I had so many books that were falling apart or just really old titles that my students weren't as interested in reading. Through this project I was able to get so many new books to add to our classroom. Third grade students are so inquisitive and hungry for knowledge, so I added many of the "Who Was/What Was" series. My students have absolutely loved these books! They come to me all time with facts they've learned from reading these books that they cannot wait to share. I love hearing "Ms. Leath, did you know?!"

Thank for helping me add so many new titles that keep the love of reading alive in my classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Leath

  • 3b Needs the Basics

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

We have been so busy learning and creating this year! All of our new resources have been put to use each and every day. We have used the expo markers to work out important problems in our math story problems. This has really made a huge impact on my students being able to show their work and easily erase mistakes to try again. There is something about using the ease of being able to erase to quickly and start over keeps my students from getting frustrated quickly. Having their very own whiteboard erasers was so exciting for my students! They have loved keeping them stuck to the sides of their desks, always ready for use.

All of the supplies we received helped make our classroom run more efficiently and kept my learners engaged. We are all so thankful!”

  • 3B Loves Art!

    Funded May 4, 2022

I would like to say a big thank you for donating to my project for art supplies! My students have been using the crayons, markers and highlighters to bring to life math word problems. This is helping their comprehension so much as they imagine what is happening in the problem and then drawing it out.

We also use our highlighters to highlight our name before we turn in a paper. This has saved me so much time and work because I never have a no name paper! That is a big win in this elementary classroom.

Thank you so much for all donations, it helps my day run so much smoother to have all the supplies we need!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Leath

  • Pet Perfect Learning

    Funded Aug 19, 2021

I cannot thank you enough for your support! Adding pets to our classroom has been such a rewarding experience for my students. As soon as our materials started to arrive the buzz in our classroom started. Students researched what both hermit crabs and walking sticks need in their environment and then worked in small groups to create the perfect enclosures. Students are responsible for keeping our pets habitats clean and functioning properly. They have learned how to check the pH balance and humidity inside the tanks and be sure each pet is fed a nutritious diet. The responsibility of taking care of a living being has had a huge impact on my students. I have noticed they are taking more time to keep our classroom cleaner and working together to keep their pets happy and healthy. I am thrilled to be able to share this with not only these students, but for many years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Leath
