  • Whiteboards, Journals, and More for Distance Learning

    Funded Nov 29, 2020

It was an extremely challenging and unprecedented time teaching students over Zoom and engaging in distancing learning. There were many ups and downs during this difficult time and I thank you for making it easier for my students to work and learn at home. I was able to gift students with the materials that they needed for our time together on Zoom.

Thank you for providing my students with whiteboards, whiteboard markers, journals, and other school supplies that helped them fully engage in our synchronous and asynchronous lessons.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kim

  • Calming Area

    Funded Jan 18, 2023

The materials from this project will directly impact my class and it’s environment. I am now able to create a designated calming area in my classroom. This will help my students process how they are feeling, go to a safe area where they can cope with their emotions, and help with self regulation. Thank you.”

    Ms. Kim

  • Classroom Store

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

My students truly look forward to every Friday where they can shop at "Ms. Kim's Store." They get to practice so many skills simultaneously (which I love as an educator) and they get to buy themselves goodies and treats. My students all like and are interested in different things so thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide different types of items for my students to buy. I truly wish you could see how excited they are to go shopping and I hope this is a experience/memory that they will talk about when they are older. Once again, thank you.”

  • Let's Get Comfy

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

My students have loved using our new chairs and seating areas. They get a break from sitting in their normal chairs and desk which they greatly appreciate and enjoy. I could tell that they were not used to being in a classroom that utilized flexible seating; it was great to see them touch and use the wobble chairs and portable lap desks. I saw how your donations and flexible seating increased engagement from my students, created ownership, and allowed my students to get more comfortable and move around when needed. Thank you again for your kindness and donations.”

  • We're Ready to Learn in Our Extra Squeaky Clean Classroom

    Funded Dec 24, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to my classroom and students! This school year has been a little more rough health wise; so many of my students have been sick so I am even more thankful for your donations. Thank you for helping me keep my classroom as clean as possible for my students and helping my students safe and clean at school.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kim

  • Look At Me! Look At Me! I'm Colorful

    Funded Apr 21, 2019

Thank you very much for my different colors of ink and copy paper. I would say it's essential to have bright colored materials for my students especially because of their learning needs. Something that I use to help support my students is called visual scaffolding. You can think of the term visual scaffolding as visual aids for learners. It makes information more comprehensible and visually engaging. I don't know how color printers and color ink aren't given to every educator so THANK YOU so much for your donation.”

  • Laminate, Cut, Velcro, and Repeat

    Funded Apr 17, 2019

One thing that many elementary special education teachers have in common is their love for velcro and their lamination machine. I'm able to make many of my classroom materials and activities much more durable because of my laminator. Things tend to get a little messy in a special education classroom so laminated materials are a must. It is something that I would recommend to any special education teacher and elementary teacher. I can't get enough of it! Thank you for your donations and my new prized possessions.”

  • Playing Board Games to Boost Conversation

    Funded Mar 25, 2019

Bringing in board games into the classroom has been so beneficial for my students' social skills and self regulation skills. My students learned the rules of different games, played fun games, and learned how to win and lose. We don't often think of teaching students how to lose but that's exactly what happened. Oftentimes, some of my students would really struggle with not winning and they were able to practice their self regulation skills while playing games with their classmates and teachers. Thank you for your donation and kindness.”

  • ABC + 123 Hands On Activities = Engaged + Learning

    Funded Oct 11, 2022

I am grateful for your kindness and support. I can’t wait to show my students our new activities and supplies! Hands on learning has so many positive benefits and I know the materials from this project will help my students build their foundational skills. Thank you for helping keeping my students engaged and learning.”

  • Computer Mouse + Headphones = More Learning + Accessibility

    Funded Apr 8, 2022

Thank you for your donations. My students have been wanting a mouse and headphones so I’m excited to share these materials with them. We’ve been using our laptops much more this school year and using a mouse along with headphones is going to positively impact our learning. Thank you again.”

    With gratitude,
