  • We’ve Got Spirit, but Not Tumbling or Stunting Mats!

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

On behalf of the Midland Mustangs and our cheerleading team, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation toward purchasing new tumbling and stunting mats. Your support has truly empowered our Mustangs, giving them the tools to train safely, build their skills, and embody the spirit and strength of our school.

With these new mats, our cheerleaders can push their limits and practice with confidence. Your generosity has provided them with a foundation—not just for stunts and routines but for lifelong teamwork, resilience, and pride in representing the Mustangs.

Thank you for believing in our students and helping our Mustang spirit shine brighter than ever. We're lucky to have you as part of our Mustang family!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Carpenter

  • Ready, Set, Let’s Learn!

    Funded Sep 23, 2019

Our kids were so excited to open up all of the new NASCAR items. They had so much fun building and making their cars fly through the air.

Our official unit of force and motion will begin at the end of January. At that time we will learn about force and motion and all the ends and outs of NASCAR racing. Our students will become team and collaborate to create the best car to win the race. It will be a total immersion experience with crew pit passes and tires!

I had a parent tell me that NASCAR is her sons favorite thing and she can't wait to see how he excels at this project. Thank you so much for your giving and helping us in our STEM learning experience.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Carpenter

This year is all about careers and connections. I want my students to understand that they can be anything they want and I want to make sure they have the opportunities to explore this. Being a science teacher is one of the best things ever but I want to make sure that I have all the resources to inspire each and every one of my students. I am asking for the lab coats, safety glasses, and microscopes because I want my students to step into the world of science each day. There is just something about wearing a lab coat that causes students to become more engaged in science labs. My students will be meteorologists as they study the weather, biologists as they discover life cycles, botanists while they study plants, physicists as they design cars and planes, chemists as they create their own solids and liquids, AND so much more. Tying science labs to careers will allow them to begin thinking now about the future. Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. The future scientists of the world live here.
