Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards me and my students. My students are so excited for their program. They look so cool in their sunglasses. They love that they are going to be able to have a saxophone or trumpet for their performance in our Black History Program. We are learning about black musicians this month and that is what our focus is for the program this year. The two K4 classes are going to rock the Black History Program with our props of sunglasses, trumpets, and saxophones.”
Thank you so much for donating to this project! I'm so excited to be able to use all of the boots from this project to take my students sledding. We will also use them to play in the snow. Most of my students are not able to purchase snow boots do we are not able to go outside to enjoy the snow. These boots will stay at s hook and be used for sledding and playing in the snow. I should be able to take my entire class out to go sledding this year. It is very sad for students when their families do not send them in the proper gear for the snow. Now we can all go out and play!!”

Thank you so much for donating to this project. I am humbled by your kindness and generosity towards me and my students. We will be learning about habitats soon so the students will be able to play with the treehouse toys when we learn about the woodland habitat. We will use the leaf and wood cushions when we set up our tent area. The cushions will make our woodland look more like we are actually in the woods. It will also make it more comfy. My students love seeing what is in the new boxes when they arrive. They get so excited!”
We have had some very cold days and my students received a hat and mittens if they did not have any. They loved being able to choose which hat and mittens they wanted.
They were excited to see the shoes as well. We have used these now that we have snow on the ground. If they wear boots, but forget shoes, they may borrow a pair of shoes to wear for the day.
In the coming days, we will be going sledding now that we have snow on the ground. The student will be able to borrow hats, mittens, or boots if they need them.”

Thank you so much Herb Kohl Philanthropies for funding this project. My students will love being able to have new toys to play with in the block center. I love being able to have different toys during the school year for my students in the different play areas. Thanks again for the kindness you have shown me and my students.”

Thank you so much for donating! Some of my students have never been sledding until I take them st school. Thanks so much for your kindness and generosity towards me and my students. I really appreciate the matches that support our students and classrooms. The matches make everyone ‘s kindness go farther.”
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards me and my students. They were so excited to see all of the boxes of new snacks. I opened all of the boxes in front of my students and they loved seeing what was in each one. I then open all the boxes and put the snacks into a big bucket. So now when snack time comes, the students can choose what snack they want to have that day. Some students choose the same snack every day while others choose something different every day. They have a choice, which they enjoy doing.”
Thank you so much for kindness and generosity towards me and my students. All of the bright colors of card stock will be used in many ways.
First, I will be making more flash cards for my students who need to continue to work on letter and number recognition so they are able to practice at school and home.
Next we will be using the card stock for art projects since the students love bright colors. The card stock is better at times since it is heavier than construction paper.
We also use it to print off games that we use in the classroom. I laminate these and then they are used for long time.”

My students would use the art materials to extend their learning by making books about literature that they have read. My students would use different art materials for different stories that are read. Students would also have access to the art materials during their free choice time. Students do not have access to these materials at home.
My students need to be able to express themselves creatively. The books would allow my students to draw pictures using different types of art materials like markers and crayons. My students would draw pictures about books we have read in class to increase their background knowledge.
