My school is a Title 1 school, serving low income families, with 90% free and reduced breakfast and lunch. My school is a small campus with about 600 students. The students are deemed high mobility, which means teachers have a short amount of time to make a lasting connection with students. To achieve this, my centers should incorporate visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning techniques. Additionally, the majority of my students live in apartments. These students have very little personal experiences. It is my goal to crate a learning environment that fosters and grows interpersonal engagement for every student with the materials outlined within this grant request. With the assistance of these materials my students will have the ability to be able to recognize their letters ( uppercase and lowercase).
