Help Kindergarteners Stay Focused!
Funded Mar 10, 2024My students have been so excited to use their new tools to help them focus! Using the wobble stool and bike pedals helps them get their energy out while they are learning.
So many kindergartners have difficulty sitting and listening throughout the day. Having these tools gives their bodies something to do while their minds are busy thinking and growing.
Thank you so much for your generous donations! Our class greatly appreciates your support in helping us learn to our greatest potential this year!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Lauren
Help Kindergarteners Focus And Learn!
Funded Aug 31, 2013Thank you so much for the sensory cushions and small white board! Our students love the cushions; especially for students with sensory needs, these cushions have helped significantly with the children's focus. The students are aware of how the cushions can help them, often asking for a cushion when they know they may have difficulty sitting and listening. This has allowed all our students to listen more successfully during lessons.
The white board has been invaluable during small group lessons, such as during word study center time. It allows us to provide visual support to students when they are sitting at a table. For example, we use it to write words that students will need to use in their writing, and students can see the words close-up.
These supplies have been extremely helpful in our inclusive classroom, and we greatly appreciate your generosity!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Lauren

Funded Jul 16, 2013Thank you so much for the seat sacks! My students take so much pride in having their very own place to keep their work. The seat sacks have also helped build my students' independence, as they can put their writing and other work away on their own. When they finish an activity and have extra time, they know that they can take their drawing journal out of their seat sack and work on their artwork without waiting to ask a teacher.
This independence has allowed for smoother transitions, a more organized classroom, and therefore more valuable instructional time. We all love our seat sacks and are so grateful for your generosity!”

Ms. Lauren
