  • Community Clean Up

    Funded Mar 30, 2025

Thank you so much for making our volunteer community clean up project a reality! Making the world a better place and keeping the environment clean starts with just one person with an idea! Thank you for believing in our ideas and making our dreams a reality! I am so excited and thankful!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Barth

  • Mock Election Classroom

    Funded Jan 8, 2025

Thank you so much to everyone that supported this project. It has been a game changer in my classroom. 7th grade curriculum focuses a lot on branches of government and the judicial branch is often the most difficult for them to grasp. Having a table which has rolly office chairs that make it feel official, and are able to be used for mock trials makes learning engaging, fun, and more importantly more easily understandable and digestible by my middle school students.

Along with the rolly chairs, the class set of headphones has allowed us to easily engage with political and kid friendly podcasts as well as independent learning and listening to news briefs. The posters offer a reference students can use to assist them at any time. The classroom essentials on this project are much appreciated and keep the classroom running smoothly. Thank you again to everyone, your support is crucial to my classroom and my students and I appreciate it greatly! You're the best!”

  • Classroom Comfort

    Funded Aug 20, 2024

The impact of this project has proven to be great. The children are able to have a space that is comfortable and promotes learning to all kids of all different levels. Sometimes the changing of a seat or the comfort level is everything a child needs to thrive.

Every part of this project promotes learning. The lap desks are useful every single day, even kids that prefer to stay at their desks love the tactileness of the lap desk and focus more on their work.

Overall, you have all helped to create a space that focused learning is easily achieved, as well as a space for students to go as a reward or relax at a working lunch period. This has improved that overall grades and comprehension of more than half of my students. Thank you for investing in the future and in me.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Barth

  • Furniture for Learners!

    Funded Jan 2, 2024

It is with a grateful heart that I say, THANK YOU!! The multisensory seating you have all provided my classroom and students are beyond amazing! We have created a place of comfort for learning and plain old being.

The students use the spaces during group work, independent work, as well as when they need a brain break or do not feel well. The headphones and lap desks have provided flexible seating options for non traditional learners where there once were none. I am seeing an increase in task completeness ever since these materials arrived!

THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS SUPPORTING MY CLASSROOM AND STUDENTS!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Barth

  • Holiday Cheer in Our Classroom

    Funded Dec 2, 2022

It has been a long time, due to Covid, that students have been able to enjoy the holiday season both together and at school. It was my mission to make sure that my students, who could not be sweeter or more deserving, got to truly enjoy the wonder of the season. Because of all of you, that dream became a reality.

The holiday craft kits have been so exciting and enjoyable for the students to complete. They get to bring some home, hang up some around the room, and truly loved making them. The smiles on their faces said it all. The holiday gifts are going to be the big finish. Each student (all low income families/shelters) will receive a Carhart winter hat to stay warm and stylish, a pair of headphones that will make their travel to and from school enjoyable, and a yo-yo because every kid needs a toy!

The season was made merry and bright by all of you. I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. Giving the gift of joy to kids, what's better than that? I will be uploading and sending pictures soon! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Barth

  • Old School Basics!

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

I am so humbled each and every time that my family and friends help out my classroom. Even though times are tough, it always brings a smile to my face each and every time you all donate.

Simple school supplies really do make a difference in the classroom. Markers, highlighters, fun paper, posters all help to make the learning experience both interactive and engaging.

I am always so happy when projects get funded, so are my students. I will continue to be a champion for my students and their needs. They say it takes a village, I thank you for being a part of ours.”

  • Just Mercy for BEES

    Funded Dec 20, 2019

This movie was amazing for our students. It was not only a phenomenal film but it lead to many discussions, projects and debates.

The part students liked most was that it had a real feel to it. They were able to identify and feel the moments of the movie. They were also able to compare things learned in class to the movie itself.

In the end. We wrote letters to the Alabama state senate about repealing laws and changing the wording in their state constitution. It was an impactful life moment.”

  • Stand Up Technology Work Stations!

    Funded Dec 27, 2018

The impact of the stand up work stations far exceed my expectations! At first, I was thinking these work stations would benefit several of my more energetic students and help them in focusing and also learning in a comfortable environment that fosters learning for all.

They have become a great space for almost all of my students to utilize. They take turns working at the stand up stations. They do not have to ask to go work over there, if its open, you are free to go over and use the space.

This has proven to provide a great little section of the room that allows all students the space to get up and move while STILL staying on task. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom, my students, and education as a whole!”

  • Back to the Basics

    Funded Dec 21, 2018

Thank you so much for investing in my classroom, my craft, and most importantly my students. This project although simplistic in materials has proven to be such a help to the learning process in my room.

When students are given not only the time and space but the materials to be creative, amazing projects all of a sudden seem to happen. The boring project becomes a canvas of wonder and creativity. The dreary task of research becomes a new artistic outlet along with an academic component.

As for next steps, I am going to seek out how even more creative and thoughtful supplies can help aid in the learning processes of my students. As always thank you for supporting me, but most importantly thank you for caring about my students and believing that education is truly the key to success.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Barth

  • Beyond the Books, Learning Through Play!

    Funded Mar 29, 2017

Thank you so much for your continued support of my students and my classroom! Each project that is funded brings my students closer and closer to mastery of content and an ability to enjoy social studies.

My students have been able to learn how to deeply decode political cartoons, documents, and quotes by using the materials that you funded! By playing simple games they learn helpful skills that can then be applied to classroom tasks. These skills include categorizing, analyzing, grouping, and understanding fact versus opinion.

I firmly believe that regardless of age, learning through play and experience is the key to success! Thank you for believing in my students, my teaching, and my school! I appreciate each and every single one of you.”
