Comfortable Learning Environment? Sign Me Up!
Funded Jan 18, 2020I can't thank you enough for your generous donation to my classroom project. This project would not have been possible without your support. My students literally gasped when this rug was delivered to our classroom. It is bright, comfortable, big, clean, and inviting. This rug is PERFECT! My students use this rug all day long. We use it for independent reading, flashlight reading, small groups, math intervention time, and indoor recess. Not only is this rug comfortable, it is also educational. The kids have really enjoyed looking at and locating the continents and oceans on it.
Thank you for choosing my project to donate to. Your donation is greatly appreciated.”

Read & Relax!
Funded Dec 27, 2019My students LOVE our new classroom additions. They were SO excited when the rug was delivered to our classroom. I told them, "Just wait, there's more!" Their little mouths opened wide and there were screams of excitement.
On Fridays, we have "Flashlight Friday." This is a time that we turn the lights off and read with a flashlight for about 20 minutes. The new reading rug quickly filled up with my second graders. They were so excited to read. Everyday since, they frequently ask me if they can read if they finish their work early.
The materials are not only perfect for reading time, but for indoor recess games, partner activities, and small group lessons. The cozy chairs and soft rugs make our learning environment so much greater.
I can't tell you thank you enough for your generous donation to my classroom. My students are beyond thrilled to have these items.”

Funded Oct 24, 2019My students have used the white boards and markers to solve 2-digit subtraction problems, create their own problems, and to work through STEM challenges. We are using the containers to store the materials. They are arranged by table numbers and allow for my students to quickly gather the materials for their table so little time is lost during transition.
When I first showed my students the materials we had received, the look on their faces was priceless. Twenty-three mouths opened wide, there were squeals, and looks of pure excitement were on their faces. They were so excited to solve math problems with these materials.
We will continue to use these materials for the remainder of the year. We will use them to solve math problems independently and will use them to do small group planning during science. I myself have used the white boards to teach small intervention groups. The opportunities provided with these materials are endless. Thank you for supporting my students.”
