  • Stay Away COVID!

    Funded Jul 27, 2020

Thank you for supporting my project. By supporting this project, you have provided my classroom with two large shields that are perfect for small group learning and one-on-one meetings with students. When this school year started, I was concerned how I would manage small groups during reading and math and how I would meet one-on-one with struggling students. Problem solved! These shields are large enough to cover the width of my table. Students can interact with their peers as they normally would, but in a safe way! This is priceless! This school year has presented many challenges, but my young students deserve to have opportunities to deepen their understanding of a topic. Thank you for making this possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mack

  • Room Transformations

    Funded Sep 12, 2020

THANK YOU for your generosity. I am SO excited about this project. Room transformations are such a great way for my students to have fun while learning. Fun activities require a lot of materials that can become costly. I am so grateful to be able to offer my students these experiences without having to worry about the cost of the supplies. I cannot wait to see the reaction on my students' faces when they see the room transformed! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mack

  • Basic Classroom Supplies

    Funded Aug 11, 2020

THANK YOU for supporting my classroom project. It is amazing the amount of supplies that it takes to make a classroom function successfully. I was able to restock all of my construction paper and cardstock with this project. Paper is something that a classroom can never have too much of. We will use this all year to complete various activities. During COVID, we are unable to share supplies in the classroom. Thanks to the completion of this project, I am able to provide all of my students with his/her own clipboard for outside learning, their own ruler, and other basic classroom supplies. I am grateful for your support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mack

  • Clean Air Helps Us Be Healthy!

    Funded Aug 11, 2020

I am so grateful for your support of this project. These materials allow me to provide the students in my classroom with clean air. This is especially important while we are in person during the middle of COVID 19. We hope that by doing as much as we can to stay healthy that we can stay in the classroom this school year. When I told my student's parents that I was able to provide their children with an air purifier in the classroom, they were very appreciative. This project would not have been possible without you! THANK YOU!”

  • Hands-on Learning

    Funded Feb 21, 2020

Thank you for supporting my classroom. Unfortunately most of my students last year did not have an opportunity to use this tool because the school system shut down due to COVID-19 in March. We had the OSMO in our classroom for a few weeks and it was enjoyed by some students. It is such a great tool for students. I love that it allows students the opportunity to have fun while learning. It is engaging, interactive, and sparks creativity. I look forward to using this tool with my students for years to come. This classroom tool would not have been possible without your support. I am very grateful you chose to support my project. THANK YOU!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mack

  • Gear Up For Growth

    Funded May 6, 2020

Thank you for supporting my classroom! I am so eager to get back into the classroom next year. This robot will be the perfect addition to the STEM classroom I am striving to create. I cannot wait to see how my students use it. This will be perfect for all learners. Thank you! Thank you!”

  • The More You Read, the More You Know!

    Funded Mar 3, 2020

Books speak volumes. We are so fortunate to now have a vast collection of non-fiction books in our classroom thanks to your generous donations. My students eagerly grabbed these books and loved reading about things we learned about earlier this school year. Several of them even learned new things through reading these books. They kept excitedly coming up to me and saying, "Mrs. Mack did you know...". I am excited to see the learning that happens through these books over the next several weeks, months, and years. These non-fiction books are colorful, child-friendly, and easy to read and understand. They are perfect for all levels of students. This project would not have been possible without your support. Thank you for choosing to support this project!”

  • Books! Books! Books!

    Funded Mar 6, 2020

Thank you for choosing to support this project. Last week was Dr. Seuss week and my students had the opportunity to hear several of his stories. They laughed during each book and were excited to hear a new book each day. To have nearly the complete Dr. Seuss book at their fingertips now is priceless. When these books arrived to our classroom, I saw 23 sets of eyes light up. They were SO excited and immediately asked if they could read them. We are using the books to support our opinion writing. Each student chose their favorite Dr. Seuss book and is writing about why it is their favorite. These books will be loved for weeks and years to come. Dr. Seuss changed children's literature and these books have changed my classroom! Thank you again!”

  • Building Readers One Book At a Time!

    Funded Feb 21, 2020

I cannot tell you how excited my students were to walk into the classroom and see a huge display of new books. The books that were part of this project are their favorite titles and the most frequent checked out books from our school library. To have them readily available within our classroom is priceless. My students are eager to read during independent reading time and are grabbing the new books as fast as they can. They are excited to have opportunities to read just so they can dive into these new books. Books that interest kids is an amazing thing. The more kids are excited about reading, the more they grow as a reader. These books are helping my students to become better readers. Thank you again for your support!”

  • Indoor Recess Made Fun!

    Funded Feb 18, 2020

When I opened the box and told my class there were indoor recess materials inside, they were SO EXCITED! People shouted, "Yay!" Most of the students squealed and clapped with excitement. We have had a very rainy winter and have been stuck inside more times than we have been able to go outside. Everyone was eager to use the new materials. I think they are actually looking forward to a rainy forecast so they have opportunities to build, create, and discover with our new materials.

We are so grateful for your support. Adding new items to our indoor recess container would not have been possible without your help. You have made a difference in my classroom. I appreciate you choosing my to support my project.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mack

Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students with all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success. Our school does not receive Title 1 funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.
