Funded Oct 5, 2021THANK YOU for your generous donation to my classroom. Throughout the year random (but necessary) supplies are needed in the classroom. Tools for motivation, birthday surprises, behavior rewards, and basic supplies are all needed to help a classroom run smoothly. Due to your generous donations, I will be able to easily and readily provide supplies to my students throughout the school year. My second graders are so excited for their new desk pets, desk pet food, black light pens, pencil sharpeners, and folders! You have made a difference in my classroom and I am so grateful for you! THANK YOU!”

Funded Jul 5, 2021I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations to help fund this project. With this project, I was able to completely re-vamp my classroom library. Instead of having picture books, I was able to add beginning chapter books and several book series' to my classroom library. My second graders love it and are excited to read! I love hearing them say, "This book is awesome!" or "Do we really have to stop reading?" They don't want to put the books done and that is truly priceless. Funded May 4, 2021I cannot say thank you enough for your generous donations towards my project. The funding of this project allowed me to add several new books and book series to my classroom library. Having good books at my students' fingertips is priceless. I teach at a very large school and while our school library is very well stocked, there are times in which the most popular titles are checked out for extended periods of time. When I learned this, I wanted to provide these books in my classroom to be immediately available at all times. Your generosity made this possible. I cannot wait to share these new books with my students for years to come. THANK YOU!!”

Funded Sep 12, 2020Last week my county announced we would transition to Virtual Learning for the last week of the semester. Due to this, I was able to use the materials that were funded in this project. I only have one "teacher" laptop in my classroom. With the use of my monitor, I could share my screen with my students while continuing to see the students on Microsoft Teams. This has been a game changer. It is nice to see their faces while teaching. It makes it seem like we are in the classroom and in person. As a teacher, it is important to see student's reactions to things. By seeing their faces, I could tell if students were understanding, confused, excited, or off task. I no longer fear the virtual teaching world, and part of that is because of these materials. Regardless of where I am teaching, I will be able to see all of my students at once.
THANK YOU for supporting my classroom.”

Creating a Safer Classroom Environment
Funded Jul 27, 2020I can't thank you enough for your generosity. The desk shields that you have provided my students with help us feel safer in the classroom. These shields have allowed my students to safely eat snack at their desks, safely drink water at their desks, work with a peer to discuss questions, and receive individual feedback. Learning and going to school during the current pandemic has provided an unusual set of challenges. Now that my students and my classroom have these individual desk shields, we can take one worry off our plates. That is priceless. Both myself and my students can focus on what we should be focusing on in the classroom. THANK YOU for your support!”

Tools for Thinking
Funded Aug 15, 2020Thank you for supporting my project. Bee Bots are such a fun way for students to problem solve and really think outside of the box. I used to have to borrow my co-workers bee bots and am thrilled to have my own this year. My students will use them as we discuss maps, directions, and different forces. Bee Bots are easy to use and can be used independently or in small groups. Due to COVID, my students will take turns using the Bee Bots but we will discuss our findings in small groups. The reaction my students have when they get to use cool robots and discover coding is priceless. THANK YOU!”
