Growing and Glowing
Funded Oct 16, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donations to my project, "Glowing & Growing."
As a primary interventionist I work with students from kindergarten to 2nd grade who are struggling academically in literacy and math. Due to the range of grade levels and needs it is so important that I have a variety of materials to help address differentiated instruction
Thanks to your kindness and support my students now have access to a wonderful digital platform for practicing foundational skills that they absolutely love. They also have access to several printable games and books that engage them in both math and reading.
Thanks again for your support!”

Mrs. Bray
A Bright Beginning!
Funded Aug 3, 2023Thanks to your generosity, my kindergarten students have access to new and engaging materials for practicing both math and literacy skills.
In kindergarten working in small groups on foundational skills is the key to learning success and thanks to your donations we have discovered new ways to practice our learning.
Counting to 100 using the 100s pop-it board offers students the sensory feedback many need for learning success.
Using the alphabet clips and magnetic sound segmenting trays help students to uses a multi-sensory approach to building words.
Most importantly all of these materials bring joy to learning.
Thank you once again for your support.”

Funded Dec 31, 2022Thank you so much for funding our Kindergarten Science of Reading Project! The materials I was able to purchase with your generous donation has made such an incredible impact on both teaching and learning in my classroom.
The curriculum and program materials have been indescribably helpful for my students' growth. I have watched my students make huge gains in phonics, phonemic awareness and they have become true readers. The confidence and joy I see in their faces when we work on reading has been thrilling.
Thank you again for your support.”

Light Up at the Light Table!
Funded Jun 14, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations to our light table project. The materials we received for our light table have given our students the opportunity to explore math and literacy concepts in a unique and engaging way.
The students' eyes lit up as bright as the light table itself when they saw all of the new materials they had to work with. They have made letters and words, numbers and patterns as well as many other projects of their own imagination.
Thank you again, I truly appreciate your support.”

Funded Aug 12, 2021Thank you so much for your thoughtful donations. With your generosity and support we were able to furnish our classroom with a brand new play kitchen. This has become the most popular center for my students, but more importantly a space for so much learning. In our little kindergarten kitchen students with multiple linguistic backgrounds are talking, laughing, playing, sharing, planning, and organizing. They are exercising their big imaginations and cooking up some very creative meals, for which I am the lucky recipient daily.
Thank you again for your kindness!”

Funded Jan 12, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donations. This mobile media cart has allowed me to set up my classroom so that my in-person students and my remote students can connect to one another virtually. They have the opportunity to see one another and share their ideas and questions.
This cart has been an absolute life-saver! All of my technology, teaching materials and supplies are organized and easily at hand. It also greatly benefited our specials team! It has helped our librarian, gym and music teachers easily transition in and out of our classroom daily.
Once again, thank you!”

Virtual Kindergarten!
Funded Aug 25, 2020Thank you so much for supporting my project. With your generous donations I am able to share several new picture books representing diverse characters with my students. It is so meaningful for my students to see themselves and their cultures reflected in the books we read. It is also incredibly impactful for all students to be exposed to the lives of others.
Although we are virtual, I am also able to share activities with them in real time using the Osmo projector. This little gadget has allowed me to model and demonstrate lessons and skills for my students that I would not otherwise be able to do through a computer screen.
Thank you for bringing some ease and some joy to our virtual kindergarten!”

Good Morning Kindergarten!
Funded Aug 21, 2019When my students begin their day they now have a wonderful variety of materials to work with that help support reasoning, planning, building, designing and imagination all while practicing and strengthening their fine motor skills.
Upon arrival students choose a "morning bin" and set up their work station. As students arrive they either join or begin a station which allows for practicing choice, organization, decision making, sharing and communication.
Thank you so much for helping to create a bright start to our kindergarten day...exercising our brains with smiles in our faces!”

A Little Love for Our Library
Funded Aug 14, 2019Thank you so much for the shelving units that now house our precious books that make up our classroom library. Our library is a most beloved area in our classroom and years of use left quite a bit of wear and tear on our old shelving. After many repairs it was time to start anew. Thanks to your generous donations we were able to do just that!
Not only are our new shelves a safe and sturdy home for our books and the kindergartners who love them, but, because these units are on wheels they were also given two thumbs up from our janitorial staff :)!
Thank you again for helping to make our classroom a special place to be!”

Funded Apr 10, 2019My students had the time of their lives on the field trip to the farm today! After a long bus ride the students cheered at the sight of the big red barn coming into view.
As we arrived we met Ms. Michelle who was our tour guide. The students had the opportunity to meet horses, ponies, donkeys, hens, roosters, chicks, ducks, ducklings, geese, goslings, pigs, cows, sheep, goats, bunnies, and turkeys!
Not only were they able to see the wonderful animals but they were able to pet or hold almost all of them! The highlight of the trip was the animal babies! The "oohs" and "awes" were plentiful.
Ms. Michelle did a wonderful job introducing us to all of these sweet animals and was able to give us a lot of great facts about each one. We will now take our new found knowledge and begin our farm study for the final science unit of our school year.
I cannot express how thankful we all are for the opportunity to go on such an amazing trip. The students will never forget it. Thank you!”

Mrs. Bray
