I am lucky enough to have some of the most amazing students in the world who are eager to learn. We are located in a school district that is extremely overcrowded and lacks technology. Although the kids are packed tightly into classrooms where supplies are lacking and there is almost no technology, they are able to learn and grow by leaps and bounds each year. Their persistence and ability to adapt to their circumstances amaze me daily. I am hopeful this year, if we get added technology, our learning experience will be different and more dynamic. Although I know my incredible kids can learn and grow despite not having technology, being able to give them devices to use to experience and apply what we are learning to real problems would be an amazing gift. I know each of my children would be thankful for the contribution to their learning.
