Innovate and Build with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Blocks!
Funded Mar 31, 2019I would like to thank you for contribution to the three robots. Since then my students have been excited to design and build the robots. Furthermore, they are having fun with programming in the Lego Mindstorm application. They are learning how to work together to share their ideas in planning how to move their robots. They are full of ideas and they are not afraid of making mistakes. Students are very persistent and enjoy every single moment of the programming. There is one specific group working on the ultra sonic sensors. Sensors are not the easiest to program but they are persistent and have been able to be successful.
The students were ecstatic to know that they were able to design and build their Lego Mindstorm robot. We opened the boxes and we headed to the Robotics room. Their little eyes and hands were ready to create their master pieces.
The current lessons are first to identify the parts that each of the Lego Mindstorm sets so that they can design a robot of their choice. Next is having them develop their robots. Once Robots are developed students will be learning about distance and the rotation fo the wheel and finally programming.”
With gratitude,
