  • Full S.T.E.M. Ahead! Help Us Build Our Knowledge Train!

    Funded Jun 30, 2023

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the best choices for them. During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Currently, my students are choosing to work in a variety of locations in our room such as at different tables, sitting under tables with clipboards, or sitting or lying on the floor with a clipboard. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component of motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. They almost always make good choices about where they sit, are more engaged, and get more work completed than when they are just sitting at their desk.”

  • Books Make Us Smile!

    Funded Mar 30, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations! I loved seeing my student's faces when they walked into my classroom! When they came in and saw all the new materials out on their desk, they gave a little cheer! Well, a big cheer! They were so excited to learn from all the new S.T.E.M. materials we had to start a rotation.

My students are using the new materials during math and science times. Right now, they are learning how to put together the marble run. This has been challenging, but they were so excited when they finally got their marble run to work.

Thank you again for your donations!"”

  • Getting Organized

    Funded Nov 28, 2022

We are so excited to get our classroom library set up. By doing this we will be able to get to our books more easily and we will also be able to get more books. By having more choices and having our books organized we will soar in our reading.

My students were so excited as we opened each box! One student yelled out, "Oh, it's so pretty! Our classroom is going to look so nice!" Another student said, "This is great, we will be able to see the books now much easier." Needless to say they were very excited about the bright neon colors.

I look forward to setting up this library with all these bright colors and the ease of being able to see the books to select. Thank you for your donations!”

Another group of student were working with the Magna-tiles. These Magna-tiles let them build with different shapes. They have built a house, castle and recently a student made a circle with all the triangles. It was a great moment!

  • Let's Wobble and Learn!

    Funded May 27, 2021

My students received exactly what they needed to learn to get their wiggles out and pay attention. When they test with me this makes them nervous, but when they sit in the wobble chair it helps them focus more on me and the assessment.

They were so excited to see these new wobble chairs that they let out a squeal. Other class had these and they were very excited that our class received them from awesome donors like you!

Now when I test one-to-one my students are able to focus. I also use these chairs for think time. It's a wonderful resource!”

  • Wiggle, Wiggle! Alternate Seating Helps Little Ones Concentrate!

    Funded Aug 9, 2017

Thank you so much for donating to my class! They love the wobble chairs and can't wait to come to my guided reading table to sit on them. When they are wiggling it helps them focus and pay attention to the lesson in front of them!

They were so excited when they saw the new wobble chairs! They were very excited to try them out. Excited about how they looked so neat and bright! Again that you for your donation and I appreciate you taking the time to donate to our classroom. It is quite a bit of help to donate to classrooms.”

My students are unique and hardworking students. I teach in a small city in Warner Robins, GA with a 100% free/reduced-price lunch. Most of our students come from the neighborhood around my school, which creates a strong sense of family and community involvement. Despite the various challenges that my students and their families face, my students work hard to overcome their obstacles to ensure that they are on a path to success. They are bright, sweet individuals who light up my day every time I see them.
