Technology integration is one of my greatest passions in life...next to teaching that is. Research shows that students learn best and actually retain more information when technology is incorporated into their every day learning. In my classroom, I do a lot of small group instruction as well as instructional videos and digital portfolios. As a completely portable learning tool, my iPad allows documentation and student sharing to be taken to a whole different level. In order to make my small groups much more engaging and hands on, I would like to connect my iPad to a TV near the small group table for quick and easy access to information during reading, writing, and math groups. This makes it even easier to cater my instruction to individual students' needs.
