Quality TpT resources are a huge help in my classroom, especially when it comes to reviewing certain skills with my students. This past year has been difficult for my students as they were out of school for an entire year and then reintroduced to the classroom setting with just 6 weeks left in the school year. Unfortunately, with that comes the loss of certain skills and a lot of anxiety for my 2nd and 3rd grade autism class. Quality TpT resources would help me close some academic gaps for my students and help me gauge what I need to do for my students to make sure they meet their goals and objectives this year. For autistic students especially, having a daily routine is very important, and a hybrid school model is not conducive to their learning at all. To help them get back on track with making progress towards their goals and objectives my students would benefit from TpT resources like visual schedule booklets. This would help my students get better adjusted to being in a classroom setting again and having a schedule can take away some of their anxiety while helping to increase positive behaviors. Other resources from TpT that would be extremely helpful for my students this year are spiral review worksheets. Being that I serve two grade levels spiral review allows me to teach specific math and ELA skills to both my 2nd and 3rd graders. Having these resources helps me to reinforce specific skills and provide enrichment for both groups of students to ensure they all make progress towards their IEP goals and objectives.
