My students are very excited to begin the planning process for the two challenges presented to them. Students were given the choice to create a Ziggurat (a rectangular stepped tower) that will act as a marble run or to create proverbs offering wisdom and advice on clay slabs using Cuneiform letters and pictures. Students will use the crafting sticks, glue and paint to form a realistic Ziggurat. This project gives the students the opportunity to have a better understanding of how life 5,000 years ago shaped society as we know it today. Students will work with others and problem solve to create a functioning project.

About my class
