  • STEM Games!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for contributing to our STEM classroom. My students in all grade Kindergarten through Eighth Grade have loved the additions of the STEM games. Using LEGO Wedo have increased my students interests in coding and programming. They are able to design LEGO robots that work with the computer program. These programs have helped students to see hands-on how coding and robotics actually works. Seeing the excitement in my students eyes when they get a program to work and see the robots move has been wonderful.

    Amazing resources!!”

    With gratitude,

  • STEM Games for Computer Science Learning!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much to Ripple for fully funding this STEM project! My students love the STEM games for our classroom. The Kindergarten students especially love the Code and Go Mouse robot game. They have learned so much about programming from using this game. The hands-on approach to programming and coding really helps the younger students understand Computer Science concepts. You can truly see the joy and excitement on their faces as they play these games. I can't wait to use these centers year after year!”

  • 3D Pens for STEM Makers!

    Funded Dec 31, 2017

Thank you so much for funding my project for 3d pens in our new STEM Lab. These materials are a wonderful addition to several projects my students and I are currently working on. The students love using them to design their very own 3d structures. Also working with tinkercad on the computers, my students can make their design come to life with these pens. I love watching them make new and exciting structures. They are so easy for the students to use, and work like a charm. Thanks for helping out our STEM Lab!”

  • Resources for Our STEM Lab!

    Funded Nov 21, 2017

Thank you so much to all the donors who have enriched my STEM Lab for my students. The new building kits are lots of fun and educational for my students. They love designing, and working in centers to build with these kits. They have used the Engineering Design Process to construct various structures. The creation and innovation of children is seen in my classroom through these materials. It is wonderful to witness my students fully engaged in learning with hands-on supplies and materials. They are amazing!”

  • STEM Building Center for Kindergarten Kids!

    Funded Dec 6, 2017

Thank you so much for these kits for my kindergarten students. The black trays are so useful everyday when I'm teaching. They allow me to keep my centers tidy and help the kids stay on track with their tasks. The trays work so well with the building kits, as they have many pieces. My kindergarten student can now build and design wonderful structures using these materials! I love seeing their creations and working with them as young engineers and designers. They have so much fun working with these kits, it's amazing. These materials and supplies are truly making a difference every day in my classroom.”

  • Video Game Coding

    Funded Nov 21, 2017

Thank you so much for the wonderful additions to our classroom library. Our new coding and video game books are perfect for our STEM Lab. The books came at just the right time. We celebrated Computer Science week and started using them right away to code and make our very own animations using Scratch. The various levels of books are perfect for all my students from Grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade! We love the read aloud "Raybot and Weebot" in Kindergarten, too! We can't wait to continue using these book all year long!”

  • Yoga for a Calming Learning Environment

    Funded Nov 23, 2016

Thank you all for donating to our classroom project to incorporate yoga into our classroom. We are happy to say that we have read the books that were added to our library about yoga. We have also explored using the yoga videos and practicing yoga moves when we need to calm down. Its been a great stress reliever during our tough school day. Having a time to just relax and calm down during the day has made focusing on school work that much easier.

Thanks again for your generous donations, it means so much to us!”

  • Preventing Plastic Pollution for 2016

    Funded Sep 25, 2016

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project! This project was so much fun to do with my students in class. We were given so many reusable bags that we decorated a couple each. Students were able to give some away to other students and family members. This project really taught my students about not being wasteful by using plastic bags. I know they use these bags for daily activities, including shopping. I hope we have inspired these children to continue in limiting their carbon footprint in the world for the future.

Again, thank you so much for donating the bags and decorating tools to make this project come to life! We hope you enjoy the pictures of us in action decorating the bags!”

  • An Indoor Garden in School!

    Funded Apr 22, 2016

Thank you so everyone who donated to this classroom garden! My students loved planting seeds and watching them grow in our very own AeroGarden! The AeroGarden is really a great hands-on tool for teaching planting and watching plants grow right in the classroom. The students were able to transplant the plants from the Aerogarden to new pots, which we continued to enjoy in the classroom. The herb garden was shared throughout the school, and maybe teachers and students used the herbs for cooking at home! It was great for my students to taste all sorts of new herbs, and see vegetables grow right in our classroom! What a great hands-on project for my third-graders!”
