  • New School Year Start!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

My students and I were so excited to receive so many boxes of supplies from this project! We loved unboxing all the materials we can use for this school year.

Some of my favorite items are the tissues, baby wipes, and notebooks! The notebooks have already come in handy for those students in need. The tissues, wipes, and pencils are used daily and every period by all of my classes. It has been so nice to not have to worry about supplying these materials in my STEAM Lab classroom. I am truly grateful!”

  • Aerogarden For Hydroponics

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

I am happy to report we have planted our first batch of seeds in our new Aerogarden! My students love watching the seedlings grow day-by-day. This Aerogarden has helped our STEAM Lab in adding a hands-on section for Plant Adaptations and learning.

We plan to repot the seedlings once they have grown a bit more! My students can't wait to even use and eat some of our plants. They are most excited to try the salad greens, dill, and basil! I hope they will be lifelong lovers on plants and nature because of this project.

Again, we thank you for your generous support in this project!!”

  • New Start in September

    Funded Oct 7, 2021

Thank you all so much for contributing to our classroom project. This year all students are back in person learning and we needed so many things to get started. The copy paper has been extremely useful for student printables and other projects. The sharpened pencils and sharpener have been a life saver for my students who need these resources. The post-it chart paper fills my classroom with print-rich content. Without your generous donations this school year would have been off to a rough start. But, you have made it much more accessible for all my learners!”

  • Headphones for Concentrated Learning!

    Funded Jan 1, 2020

Thank you so much for funding my request for Sony headphones for my STEM classes. My students now each have access to listen to their laptops privately. They are able to explore many different online resources using these headphones. I have been using them with coding games, where students can listen to the audio directions as well as sound effects in their video games. They also often use the headphones when researching Science topics and watching videos on Brainpop, Discovery Education, as well as Scholastic Study Jams! These headphones are awesome and my students LOVE them!!”

  • Stop Motion Supplies for Special Education

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Thank you so much for providing my students with the materials they need to make Stop Motion animation movies. They love using the iPads to create their own stories. The paper, scissors, tripods, and folders helped us so much to make group projects. My 6th Graders especially loved using the background paper to design their settings and characters. We are so happy to make our stories come to life using Stop Motion!

When I asked my students what they liked best about this project they said, "Designing props like cars and characters were so much fun!" and "The foam paper was fun to add to our backgrounds!" Thanks so much!”

    Funded Apr 7, 2019

Thank you so much for funding my classroom project for STEM materials. This bubble wand project from Engineering is Elementary is the perfect way to start my year with my second and third grade students. They will learn so much about the Engineering Design Process and how be materials engineers. This kit has a teacher and student packet that helps my students to understand each part of this process. They are so excited to design their bubble wands and use all different types of materials. In the process students will gain knowledge about how to work as a team and come up with the best solutions to the Engineering problem. We are so excited!!”

  • STEM Supplies for a New School Year!

    Funded Jul 18, 2019

Thank you so much for funding my project for supplies for the new school year. Our school STEM Lab is now ready to be used by students with these new materials. The pencils and pencil sharpener will be used daily and is so important to our learning lab. The display boards and chart paper will help my students to stay on task at all times.

The markers will come in handy when students are designing and decorating their group and individual projects this year. We are so excited about the school year and know we will be doing such great work thanks to your help!”

  • Technology Tool for CS STEM

    Funded Nov 1, 2018

Thank you so much for completing my Technology project! The students love our new headphones and mice. The headphones are a wonderful addition to our STEM Lab. My students have recently began working on code.org projects that include music and videos and the headphones are great for listening to their projects. Using the mice for the coding projects is also extremely helpful for my student when they need to "drag" and "drop" using the programming blocks. These resources are so helpful and we are so thankful for these materials in our classroom! Thanks again!!”

  • STEM Lab Resources!

    Funded Aug 23, 2018

Thank you so much for donating to my STEM Lab for this school year! I was so excited to share all the new Science books with my students. They love learning about Science tools, weather, seasons, and measurement. My 4th Graders have also been using the scales to learn about measuring. The gram unit kits are the perfect resource for my students to measure materials and different objects during our Science Investigations. I'm also looking forward to using the Science models of the plant cell, animal cell, and human eyes with my 4th Graders in upcoming units. You are all such special people to donate to my classroom and my students! We sincerely thank you!! ”

  • Preventing Plastic Pollution 2018

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom project for Earth Day. Students across Grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade had the opportunity to design and make reusable bags. For this project, "Preventing Plastic Pollution" students were taught the importance of reusing canvas bags in place of plastic ones. These canvas bags were designed with our new supplies of paint, fabric markers, and stencils. Everyone really loved using their artistic side to choose their designs. I was very pleased with the results. I hope you will be too!”
