  • So Much Fun in Speech!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you so much for providing myself and my students with new materials to use in speech and language therapy class. The students were very excited for the new games and toys. I have enjoyed using the games with the objects included the most so far. They are easy to sanitize once each group has worked and played with them. This year has been hard trying to do face-to-face therapy along with also doing virtual therapy. I am so glad to have new materials to use and to keep the class fun and engaging for my students. Thank you, again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Driehurst

  • Moving and Shaking in Speech Therapy!

    Funded Mar 12, 2020

Thank you so much for funding my project! I can't wait to show my students all the new materials! They will be so excited! I appreciate your support and will make sure my new items are used to the fullest. Again, thank you for supporting education and the students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Driehurst

  • Life Is a Puzzle!

    Funded Oct 10, 2018

Thank you so much for the new materials for my speech therapy classroom. My students loved being surprised by all of the new things! I have used the puzzles with my prek students the most. We have worked on vocabulary, categories and colors. They are fun ways to keep the students engaged as we work on their IEP goals. The puzzles are some of their new favorite toys! I currently have another project posted asking for new holiday themed books. I love finding new ways to target my student's goals. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Driehurst

I am in need of new materials for my younger students. Puzzles are a great material to hit all of their speech goals! I work with three year olds, three PreK classes and a special needs Prek Class (PPCD). My students love puzzles and they make for great hands-on learning. I can use the pictures on the puzzle pieces to work on articulation, language, basic vocabulary, colors, counting and requesting. My students' goals are very broad and I am able to use lots of different types of toys or materials in my classroom when working on their individualized education plans (IEP).
