  • Elevate, Separate, and Rejuvenate

    My scholars and I would like to thank you for your support in helping to see this project come to life this most trying school year of a national pandemic. ALL Scholars have been able to receive NEW Mask daily, gloves, and face shields to protect them from the elements of others in the classroom as we continue to Learn and Grow.

    Having the rejuvenating smell every class period as students clean and sanitize their desks using the supplies provided in this project has been so refreshing as the day progresses. Thank you so much. My scholars LOVE the blend of Lemon Verbena and Lavender as they use the different cleaning sprays each day.”

  • Sanitation Stations and Rolling Video Creation

    My scholars and I would like to thank you for your generosity and support of our project, "Sanitation Stations and Rolling Video Creation". These stations have provided my students the ability to replace their disposable mask regularly and not use the same mask for weeks on in. Having the Face shields has provided students with breathing issues a way to remain protected and have the ability to breathe with ease. I do need to get them breathing machine for additional support no window ventilation available. One thing at a time. :-)!

    Again, we thank you! We are able to finish the year COVID protected and Academically strong. Many asked would I send them home for Summer with a few extras because they do not have the option of replacing them frequently or access to gloves. I told them with a Smile ~ Sure let me post another Project. :-)”

  • Introduce and Review! Is there a Video for That?

    The Benefits of Study.com has been Ultra AMAZING! Having the STAAR PREP for 8th Grade Mathematics available as a 66 lesson review with small animated videos ranging from 2 mins to 8 mins served as a major game changer for the students whom were still confused on a few concepts. Their STAAR PREP of Building Stamina increased exponentially with 85% of my scholars scoring in the range of Mastery 80% - 100% on 20 questions in ONLY 60 mins. On 4 different RVW Assessments.

  • I Still Can't Read It!

    I received them yesterday and immediately put the Project into ACTION! The impact in just a matter of minutes is indescribable!

    Thank you for the opportunity to have this project Funded. Having a more expensive and disc option stylus has greatly enhanced my student's ability to write on an electronic device. They were able to pinpoint the point(s) on a coordinate grid with accuracy and identify the slope on their STAAR Mastery Prep Quiz today. The WOOs and AHHHS, OMG's! Exclaimed throughout each of my classes today.

    I AM so grateful and humbled to be able to execute this project this year with the students that have endured the Pandemic of COVID and Hybrid or ALL Virtual Learning this entire year.

    Your support has got them seeing the world in new eyes ALL with the access and use to the disc stylus. They were afraid to take them; several asking where do we need to turn these in after class? It made my heart smile :-) I hope you have the same effect on your heart when you see where we started and where we are pics that I will post.

    Students who have been eliminating showing their work when solving problems; have shown an increased amount of work due to having access to writing with the SUPER SMOOTH STYLUS! {As my Scholar called it}. Thank you again! I will continue to work on this project in the next coming years and have these or another stylus ready on day 1 of school due to the huge difference in their writing being legible to read increasing their effectiveness of timely feedback.”

  • Power Me and Protect Me!

    This has been a much-NEEDED project to combat the computers dying during instruction and students being given a Chromebook with ONLY 2% of battery on a state Test Day made up my mind for me that this Project could NOT wait until the upcoming school year or until I found the BEST Portable battery source for my mobility teaching station I have been trying to create ALL year.

    As soon as, my students saw the charging Towers they knew the class was going to be Better and they could continue to maintain their Social Distancing and more so, that I was going to adhere to my Strict NO changing Desk Rule to keep them ALL safe during this Pandemic.

    The Grade Level Principal saw them and thought WOW! Ingenious we need to get some of these in ALL of the Classrooms. These towers have made a Huge Impact and a Great difference. The document bags were a Great assurance to maintaining Test security and easy to transport without interference with my walking aids with huge buckets or baskets. I will surely be needing to order more to maintain the highest level of security for FERPA laws, functionality, and productivity. They saw are enjoying the mask inserts to make it easier to breathe and they are looking forward to the new face mask given the campus nor district has replaced any since the start of the school year. Their anxieties have eased tremendously.

  • I Hear, I See! Am I Able to Touch? {Hand-2-Mind}

    Providing my student with the ability to have hands-on Manipulatives in preparation for the 4th Common Assessment which was a 46 question state Release Test had such an Outstanding Impact on their overall scores. So much so that the outcome was NOT in Comparison to any other group of students in their content campus-wide and tested concepts in the Network.

    Your Support made it possible. I have students asking me for a set due to the large increase so many had on their Assessment for the Nine Weeks. It is still matchable I will create a few more projects so I can try to get a set for each student this year and the next as the Results in data canNOT be disputed.

    The roster average was 78%

    39% of the students scored Mastery above the grade-level concepts required for this year!

    83% of the students scored Meets the grade-level concepts required for this year!

    92% of the students scored Approaching the grade-level concepts required for this year!

    The 8 % Missing from a PERFECT 100% are due to absences but they did extremely well given the time that they were in attendance. Thank you again, and I look forward to seeing you on the next project.

    The students are continuing to Flourish academically with GREAT Success. Last Assessment on Friday none of my classes had a class average below 81%. :-) Roster average 84%. We are on our way to 100%!”

COVID-19 has created severe limited finances and resources for obtaining additional school supplies to be purchased at home or for distribution with ALL the few remaining school supplies in a building, we no longer have access. My students will be able to continue to create quality work in Mathematics, Science, Art, and Math Competitive Team wherein ALL Contents ~ MISTAKES are Expected, Inspected, and Corrected by having access to material that is not consumable, however, erasable and reusable. The Frixion system of writing tools affords my scholars' and I the continuous opportunities for teaching and learning using creativity and originality with color in note-taking during our Live ZOOM Class Sessions and independent work on their Learning Activities. Frixion allows the continued ability for Scholars to maintain the use of strategies and procedures needed for Special Needs learning comprehension and understanding, such as highlighting their problems to show evidence of their thinking using the proper strategies for Math, such as CUBES. However, the average highlighter once marked is permanent and students would need to use a different color for corrections where I am generally right there in class and able to oversee the errors and talk about the reasons for the change and their thinking. In my Distant Learning Project of 'Write, Create, Erase, and Take A Hand Break!' my Scholars will be able to clearly erase and correct any errors in notes or/and assignments. The use of colors allows them to the correct steps of the activity by identifying their accuracies and corrections, especially with Geometry equations and substitution. They're having the ability to erase and I am able to identify errors or mistakes with ease clearly and precisely without the wrong markings being a part of their final response. Greatly enhancing ALL Scholars' clarity of thinking and understanding.
