In my classroom, you'll find a vibrant mix of 6th and 7th graders, full of energy and curiosity. Across three different class periods, students from a variety of cultural backgrounds come together, each bringing their unique perspectives and experiences. Our classroom reflects the diversity of our world, and it's a place where differences are celebrated and learning is enriched by the richness of our varied experiences. Many of my students come from low-income families, with about half facing the challenges of limited resources at home. Yet, despite these challenges, they come eager to learn, full of potential, and ready to explore new ideas. In this space, we focus on creating a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
