Rain or Shine, I'll Grow My Mind
Funded May 3, 2022Thank you so much for your generous contributions to our school. We were so excited to receive all the inside recess supplies. Kids raved about the legos, coloring books, board games, bracelet making supplies, and card games! We had a trial run of kids testing out the materials at the end of the 2021-22 school year. Our next step in the fall is to teach rules and procedures on how to use and store supplies neatly and safely. We look forward to introducing this cart of recess items to all 4th and 5th grade classes. They will truly put these materials to good use on rainy days! We appreciate your support. Thank you again!”

Funded May 10, 2021We are so grateful for the summer reading supplies that you generously gave to our class! Students were able to utilize their summer reading supplies over our summer break and keep up good reading habits while out of school.
They read books on their own, were read to by parents and guardians, kept a growth chart of all the titles they'd read, and completed reading activities at home.
Students were able to maintain reading stamina with the reading supplies you provided. They benefited from these resources that they otherwise wouldn't have had easy access to.
Thank you for contributing to our goal of getting books into the hands of children and continuing our literacy growth within and outside of the classroom!”

Funded Mar 1, 2020We were so delighted to receive so many fun resources to enhance our literacy journey! Our individual and group dyslexia lessons have all benefitted from such generous donations.
Tools and games such as the plastic trays and word match game have been useful for students to practice their phonics skills. Seeing how words are put together and applying that knowledge through fun activities are great learning experiences.
The jenga blocks, writing journals, and more resources have been great application opportunities for students to practice the skills they've learned and find ownership in their literacy choices.
Thank you so much for all of these impactful supplies. They are greatly valued and cherished!”

Remote Resources for Star Students
Funded May 10, 2020The printer, document camera, and workbooks we received this spring have truly enhanced our remote lessons.
The printer was utilized to print letters, worksheets, activities, and student work. It is very convenient to use. I can print, copy and scan documents by sending from a computer or phone.
The workbooks provided great practice for students at home and will continue to be a wonderful resource. This material has been specifically beneficial for younger students that need extra practice with reading a spelling high frequency words.
The document camera has been our favorite addition to virtual learning. It provides an effective way for me to show students how to form their letters, write words and sentences, and share many visual aids.
Thank you so much for contributing to the literacy success of so many students. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.”

Funded Aug 6, 2018The HP Sprocket Printer is amazing! It is a great addition to our class and it impacted my students' learning experience tremendously! Students were actively engaged and involved in the process of illustrating their stories by printing their very own photos! Students were so surprised to see how the "little printer" worked and that it printed their pictures so quickly! The best surprise for them was to see that the printed photos were also stickers! They enjoyed putting the pictures onto the pages of their book. One student said, " Now my page looks like a real book!" Another student said, "I like making books! It's fun!"
Thank you so much for enriching the writing process for our class! We are so excited to share this piece of technology with our school, show off our finished products, and continue to use the Sprocket to help in creating more literacy projects in the future! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!”

Mrs. Stacy
