Technology is a great tool, but sometimes there are things that cannot be added to Google Docs or Schoology for all students to have access to. We use a document camera daily in my classroom to project material up on the board that cannot be found on a computer. My students love when I project pages from books so that they can all read along. Sometimes I even project images of students themselves as they are working in groups, independently, presenting projects, etc. It is a fun, interactive way to learn. However, our old document camera finally gave out on us last week, so we are excited about the possibility of having this project funded so we can start enjoying a new document camera.
