These materials will assist students in accessing and completing tasks assigned through various computer programs. Our students are beginning to extend their thinking, review needed skills and become 21st Century Learners through the use of computer programs. My students are using supplemental reading programs, such as iRead as well as an online component to our ELA curriculum. They need headphones to listen without disrupting the learning of others. Some need headphones to drown out the learning buzz that is always happening in a first grade class. We are also utilizing Google Classroom, this allows students students to practice needed skills in a 21st Century format. We are beginning to practice test taking strategies and practice skills they will need to be able to complete state testing in the coming years.
