  • Winter Books

Some of the skills and lessons introduced by Winter Books was decoding and recognizing word families for my special population. Reading in my classroom looks a lot like centers. The students break off into groups. The students read the story of the week. They also have a classroom library that they can use to enjoy their own book or a classroom book.

Teacher keeps them engaged with the Adventures of Junie B Jones but right now Dog Man is very trendy and we are enjoying him. All the students enjoy the new book and were able to take them home to keep.

    Thank you for your generosity.”
